MOD Public Relations Officials refute Reports of "The Balloon Going Up" and indicated the RAF was not engaging in Aerial Combat Operations. Officials opined such Reports were just a lot of Hot Air!

Sqn OPS O:

"Sorry Bloggs you have used up your Monthly flying time allotment".

Bloggs:

"WHAT ! I was riding in a tethered balloon !"

Sqn OPS O:

"Nah, look closely at the picture. I can clearly see you flapping my arms and legs, that is close enough for me, so you are off the flying roster until next month and I get to save a bunch of money on gas."

Its win win !

Let's try it again, Bloggs - I say 'Practice engine failure' like before, but this time instead of screaming and trying to jump out of the basket, we brew a cup of tea, have a nice biscuit and then think about perhaps looking for somewhere to set her down, eh?
