The design for the new aircraft was hidden as a microdot on Pprune so that it was virtually impossible for the untrained eye to see.

It would seem that the costs involved in distribution of our new , large vibrator may be more than we budgeted for

There was some doubt as to whether Ann Summers' take on the Good Year blimp was aeronautically viable.

Airbus employees were heard to say " It's F.A.B. Brains"

Aerospace engineers get all hot and bothered over the remake of "Deep Throat".

The RAF were heard to say "...and you can shove your A400M where the sun does not shine", but were surprised at Airbus' response.

This year Mrs Jones was in no doubt that her asparagus would triumph at the fete.

This thread contains some appalling insults to great men - not just to Harris but also to the aircrew of Bomber Command of WW2.

This poem says it all:

Let them in Peter, they are very tired;
Give them the couches where the Angels sleep.
Let them wake whole again to new dawns fired
With sun, not war. And may their peace be deep
Remember where the broken bodies lie.........
And give them things they like. Let them make noise.
God knows how young they were to have to die!
Give swing bands, not harps, to those our boys.
Let them love, Peter - they have had no time -
Girls sweet as meadow wind, with flowering hair.
They should have trees and bird song, hills to climb -
The taste of summer in a ripened pear.
Tell them how they are all missed. Say not to fear;
It's going to be all right with us down here.

In a move reminiscent of unscrupulous car dealers, Airbus delivered part of the A400M in what they really wanted to sell.

Anger was rife amongst the top brass after realising that they had forgotten to note in the small print that an Airbus Beluga is needed to move the A400M from base to base.
