After test flying both variants of the Discovery chief test Pilot Roly Beafalke preferred the V8 as opposed to the TD5.

"it all does tits after rotation when you have to point it uphill" was a memorable opinion offered after the first test

Whilst they admitted it was a nasty turn of events, Land Rover categorically denied that inadvertent missile launches were covered under the Warranty.

Yes Sir, I can confirm that the Rover pilot, on completion of the first successful missile launch, decided to celebrate and parked the ship in front of a local bar that features women in various stages of undress performing on a stage with a brass pole, contrary to base regulations.
