Heard Nas isn't going to let people do 6x3 schedule only 11 months on and 1 month off. That's the new contract I got from them.

Do they hire expats?

Hello,

Quick question. Does NAS hire expat FO's? What's the salary like for FO's?

I ask because on this page, it says

Nasair will only hire Nationals from the following Middle Eastern/Arabic Speaking Countries:

Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Morocco, Oman, and Kuwait.
...however this thread seems to indicate that expat pilots are there.

NAS Pay and future contracts

Well Last month we were paid late again. Rumor about only FULL-TIME contracts or all on 18/13 contracts. The A320's are all going away... with them the pilots will probably go as well. The PAY looks good but they keep moving trips from one pilot to the next to keep guys from getting to many hours. Lost 20 hours this month alone. Average flight time around 50 hours.... :=

all away

... all A320 aways means? thanks

Airbus 320 going out?

The last I know from a frķen that is flying in NAS, is that they will buy at least 15 brand new Airbuses, and all Embraers crews are transitioning to airbus. They will not take out the 320's

LNAV VNAV - 19th Dec 2012 02:37

Guys, does anyone know for sure whether they will stop the 6 weeks on 3 weeks OFF schedule?

Also what is this about them getting rid of A320s? What will they be flying?

I am considering applying for the A320 but only if commuting will be possible.

Rice or Sand 3rd Feb 2013 09:14

CONFIRMED

The 6 weeks on 3 weeks off contract is DEAD. ONLY FULL-TIME - 11 MONTHS ON 1 MONTH OFF being offered. Also if you read the contract carefully... 7 days off in a row every month MISSING. :=
