I would suggest contacting whoever was dealing with your application as I heard somewhere recently that they were gearing up for interviews again.

I don't know who was "dealing" with my application...

I have received two automated emails from EK, one telling me I've applied and one telling me I'm on the "shortlist" for an interview. (status on app still says "shortlist")

Is there a way to email someone specifically?

Hello mates,

Just to ask what's your current status on your profile from the website, because mine changed from "selected on hold"- to" under review".

I don't know what it really means because I was interviewed in April but I would like to know what's yours guys.

At a washup a few days ago , HR said courses filled til about FEB and that they have never had as mainly qualified apps as they have now. It will take some time to get through all of them. Recruiting has slowed due to the number of apps. Still on plan to hire @450 this year, Next years plan not done yet.

I have been changed to under review as well, all we can do is wait and see, could be good or bad, who knows, we will know when we get a call or an email. Good luck.

My profile has changed to "UNDER REVIEW" as well....
Interviewed in May.

I do expect an email from HR this week to explain what is going on....as they do when they send "Emirates Update"....

Well, they didn't stop the recruiting just focused on DECs, right? So maybe you saw the sim running but was for a DEC assessment, which means nothing for us the FOs

On a POSITIVE note all,

Under review just simply allows you to edit your profile Im assuming as I spoke to HR recently about not being able to edit my profile and a day later my application changed to under review. So my assumption is its really just to "unlock your profile" I may be wrong??

Ok I see, you seem to know everything like our colleague.
It is a shame that you fly a plane not valid for EK.
But, tell me, does this flying in your plane give you € to pay the bills?
In this case you're right now in a much better situation than me.

Thats it, I don't need to be discussing my situation with anyone. I will comment in this thread positively when I feel it like this and negatively when I feel so, and thats it. No more explanation needed from my part.
