Cheers Guys for your "Polar"opinions, but no explanations or theories as to my original question,
Why have DEC applications been removed from the EK website?, and why can those of us who have submitted applications for DEC, no longer access them?

I did mention it to them in the interview, but my application will be frozen to the position I applied for for 12 months. Never mind I will wait impatiently for some news, inshallah.

Hey guys
Lantern is old school JAA. Now its CAD (colour assessment and diagnosis). It's a computer based assessment, which is more accurate. If you fail the plates and have a lantern test passed. They'll still send you to the airline that can't be mentioned doctor who apparently are authorised to conduct this test.
45 mins later then your done. New PS4
Cheers

FMSPEED yes for the purposes of the application they accept it however I am led to believe that they are only interested right now in guys with Boeing and Airbus ratings. You'll be short listed potentially to then never hear anything for months whereas guys who are on the Boeing/Airbus tend to get the call in a much shorter timeframe. Silly really as you could be Boeing rated and then they stick you on an Airbus course or vice versa. Not quite sure how that is any different from having an Embraer rating and doing a Boeing/Airbus conversion.

I know it's different for everyone, but is having "short listed " on your application page a standard computer generated response, or do I actually have a hope?
It's only been a month since i applied and having recently visited the UAE for a weekend I,m now already in a naive end of term mode! Can anyone shed any light on an average wait for an interview?
In the mean time my BMI battle continues, and I'm winning
