757 back soon, end of lease.

But 2 x 737 due very very soon, so time for some more type ratings.

Dr Potty, has take control of the poor relation "Dana Jet", and with decisive action cut the office girls salary by 5%, thus contributing to the bottom line profit considerably.

Dana is using RAK Airways cabin crew, who have never done VVIP, and are learing the hard way.

Angel Hi Eyegivenofac

QUOTE:Can you please tell me how to go about ordering tiles.

I am having my bathroom remodeled UNQUOTE

Now I would have thought that a super sleuth like you would have known how to do that

You could try ringing RAK Ceramics but I do know they are rather busy supplying all the developments all over the UAE, so there might be a long waiting list, you could always try Emirates Tiles

Fair enough but how long does it take to get this thing going. Not this long I can assure you. Other airlines that have started at the same time are now up and running and expanding.

Rak Airways make too many changes. Re-jig the plan/plans, move the goal posts, fire people and cut the salaries in an effort to change direction and go with another half baked idea?.

Why do certain people who have no experience of airlines continue flogging this one? And now two 73's coming? As one poster put it, more type ratings! And they already went down this route type rating a bunch of guys on 73 and then never took delivery of the aircraft. A 75 type rating later and now 73's again??

Pay some decent money, get some decent management. The similarities between an airline and a toilet factory are utterly lost on me so why does the management of one try to run the other? Unless it's down the toilet they want to go..

It's a shame cos so many people put in so much hard work.

Leave RT alone

I feel so sorry for some of you guys, if RAK Airways causing you so much of grief why can’t you just go away and leave them alone.

Some of you talking about Tiles and Toilets, others are so low that had nothing to say but make up stories about staff not appreciating the damage they may cause to an entire family, it is too sad when you gays consider yourselves and are considered mature enough to take care of hundreds of lives high above the clouds and yet, indulge is such trashy exchanges.

After long years in the Aviation business, all I can see more and more immature, loony, childish and brain less Dodos joining the bandwagon.

Grow up gays,

Seeing what’s happening from the inside, RAK Airways on the right track and will do will, as for the CEO and HR we don’t see any thing going on between them except work and for most of the time disagreement as he is trying to put some aviation sense into her hard head, she may be next out, as he is determent to clean up the place and do the job proficiently.

New CEO not only changing staff, but also changing service providers, etc.

Big cosmetics going on here at RAK Airways.

Go for it RAK.

I agree with Hustler

There is no relationship between managing a toilet seat production line, manned by less than minimum wage Indians, and a start up airline.

Changing the goal posts adds to frustration.

Cutting 5% off the salary of the office staff does not actually increase productivity.

The airport management are suffering from the same policy.

A crew arrived recently to retile the terminal floor, totally without the knowledge of the airport management, the first tiles were laid before management arrived for work.

Salaries are not paid if the Doctor is not in the office.

Expenses are not paid after three months. In direct contradiction to the so often quoted UAE Labour Laws. In the new, new, new contracts this law is referred to 6 times, but not one copy available for reference.

The cabin crew uniforms are so impractical, but designed by a leading airline uniform designer, of world renown.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, so they must be good.

The RAK Airways HR Lady is now in-charge of airport and Dana HR, and will issue an other employment contract.

A RAK Ceramics internal accountant is now in charge of DANA, the MD is only a puppet.

But at least the aircraft, should be back soon, when repainted in the latest RAK colours.

A6-RAK was the registration of the BAC 1-11 operated by the previous ruler of RAK.

I look forward to the return of the crews and aircraft, the Village pub needs fresh blood.

Will they make it in October 2007 or perhaps October start means 28 October when the Winter schedule starts for most of the airlines? They've got to go upwards.

RAK Airways v RAK Leasing

Recently it has been reported that RAK Leasing (which presumably is going to provide the aircraft for RAK Airways) has been established and run by non other than the notorious Imad SABA and rumor has it his wife, his sister n law, other hangers-on and yes, the whole damned gaggle of "enchiladas".

If this is the case BEWARE !!!

Rumors are also rife that Saba and his busty band of "bimbos" are spending up large on opulent office suites and more unqualified, inexperienced slaves.

Wonder how long it will take for his Excellency the Shk and his "advisor" to find out the real background to Saba and that they have been "taken" by one of the best???

Brokn

Just a little over the top.....but Rak Leasing has just recruited two mexicans to fly the big cheese and his gulfsteam. The advert in 350 required 2000 hrs on type for the SIC, so I am sure that the sourced the best crew for HH.

I regret that HH will never be told the truth, so please will the last on out please turn off the light.

mafiabacon,

let's say he did no resign , according to people close to the action.

At this point it is difficult to keep track on how many managers resigned or left without having resigned

But why would this be of any concern to us? A start-up airline with a history like RAK will not last. That it is still alive can only be because someone is keeping its powerful hands over the office building near RAK Ceramics.

Recriutment on Hold

Just heard a bird sing on my window pain saying that RAK has postponed/put on hold any further recruitment as they are in final stages of deciding on new equipment to replace current.
Can anyone else shed some light on this. Not sure what the plans are as in equipment type....B or A ?????

UTRF,

Ok, food for brains coming up:

According to people close to the action he did not resign. He is not there anymore. So, what do you think happened? He was told to pack his bag. Again, according to the PRu network.

TCPILOT and all others thinking about sending an application, probably thinking more about B than A. What B? -800. But since they are in the think tank, may be A
