Thanks for the info buddy.
It could be an alternative to NAS. It's been 4 1/2 weeks since I did the interview with NAS and still no visa documentation. They keep promising the visa doc's, but nothing is happening. I really don't know whats going on in Saudi. But NAS are proving to be a giant pain in the ass.

From What I hear this is one of the main hurdling blocks starting work with NAS.
My understanding is that from hire date to line release can take up to 8 months.
Also don't forget that it is summer time and Ramadan will start on Monday.

NAS Air
Just received notice that NAS is hiring Capts on the EMB and the pay scale is over 16K (usd) for commuting, and well over $200k for living in Saudi. Is this true and if so, how is hiring going for NAS? A lot of new takers?
Years ago I was contacted by them, but got scared away with all the bad media I heard about them. Seems like things have turned around for them now, wondering if anyone has any opinions that are up to date?
Thanks,
ME

If anybody has both job offers, China or Saudi take China. Regardless off money , airline, position. Unless your gay, arab, camel jockey, recovery alchoholic, hit your head on the ground 5 times a day, hate shaving, then go to NAS.

Letter for no Accidents no Incidents history, and
Confirmation letter form there issuing Authority for there License
how would I obtain those? also what is the second one? isn't my ATP license enough?

All about it
Training is taking 3-4 months average. After that your first on rotation (6 weeks) starts.
The average of captains that make it trough on the A320 is very high. Rarely anybody fails. On the other hand, E190 Captains are not making it… Only 3 pilots out of 14 have passed the authority checkride this year. There is only one Embraer check airman from the “GACA” for the airline and he is a complete bastard (named Bader)… and even though it seems the checkride is the same for everybody, it depends on the guy’s mood if you pass or not… That said even by the local Arab guys…
Any questions, feel free to ask.

Nas air capt Salary
This salary scheme is not correct:
Captains:
Basic salary 30000 SARS plus 8300 SARS for housing and 800 SARS for transportation.
0-50 hours= 175 SARS x hours extra
50-75 hours= 400 SARS x hour extra
75-100hours= 500 SARS x hour extra
Change of duty within 24 hours they will give you 500 SARS extra
This is for 6 weeks on and 3 weeks off
Full time you make an additional of +or- of 8000 SARS more.
