Time to command depends on upgrade requirements etc, but normally it was around 2 to 2 1/2years minimum if you got the sim marks you needed and time on type. Expect longer than that now because of the backlog of upgrades waiting and if you join as FO, there will be 3-400 ahead of you in the seniority list (not all of them want to be upgraded though).

Company requirement is 4000hrs total time, 2000 on type and 1000 on company aircraft. Also it says 24 months since date of initial line check now.
Considering the amount of FOs waiting for the upgrade (300-400) what would be approximate waiting time for a new joiner experienced FO to get the upgrade now?

Just want an info regarding the pre employment medical,
Can we do the medical 1-2 day before SIM ASSESMENT?

it is not clear who impose which rule when the head of GCAA is also the owner

i received today invitation for video interview i complete the online assessment in october and did not receive anything until today
any feedback about video interview?

No. I believe the medical is done on the last day. Once you’ve passed the sim and HR interview.

Any NTR FO had interviews or offered positions?

I know a few TR people going for interviews in Dubai next month and seen a few starting according to LinkedIn. All seem to be TR at present.

Yes you can, it doesn’t matter on which day you do the medical check.

All I know if there will be 3 questions about yourself, 30 seconds to prepare and 3 minutes to answer. nothing technical. I haven’t do mine yet. anybody did the interview already?
