loc22550

My new best pprune friend, how are you.

I said many, not most.

The 320 FM is only going to get those with problems going to him moaning, not those that are happy. Could I be correct in saying that.

The only problem I have here is flying with Captains who want to drag the aircraft in level with everything hanging out from 15 miles away, wasting fuel. Anyone ever thought about promoting CDA's here or what. The amount of wasted money in fuel must be millions a year.

The holiday system which does not allow you to book less than 7 days at a go. If someone wants 2-3 days off, he has to have 7. The amount of wasted manpower is a joke especially after reading an ACN about use of company equipment and property with regards wasting money.

loc22550

I am as happy as can be. I get the feeling that those that do nothing but moan are the cause of why its difficult to have a Pilot/Management communications system in place here in order to improve things, because they are pissed off with those wanting everything for nothing. The number of times I hear pilots moaning about doing a night India. FFS, you're a pilot based in the middle east.

I think if the company set up a forum where we as the workforce cold suggest things, ask things and do so in the full knowledge of who we are instead of hiding behind a disguise on here, then maybe things could better than they are at the moment.

loc22550, would you then write on there what you write on here ? Please, if you have a point, then feel free to make it, but I wish you and other would stop taking the opportunity to slag off Qatar Airways at every chance you get by replying to others post on here. I am happy, not all, but many others are. They just don't waste their time coming here to read the same few moaning.

74world, congrats on getting a job here. Hope you enjoy the 777. I was so near to that fleet LOL. Never mind, something's are a blessing in disguise.

I am happy on the 320 fleet, but then again, I am not frightened about working. Just smile, do my job and make sure I don't kill myself and that he does not kill me either. A pay rise would be welcomed though and still waiting for the one that is rumoured.

If anyone knows where there is a better job anywhere right now, then please feel free to post a link for it here. I would like to see if the sand is brighter elsewhere.

By the way, the grammar and spelling police, don't bother, I may be dyslexic and I don't care about what you think, so don't waste your time trying to tell me how to write, I can't help it. Sorry

HR is a bit of a joke when it comes to renewing your RP or multi exit permit

You have just been "assigned" to the 777, 74 world....yes and your point is...because Assign doesn't mean anything here.

I was 'assigned' 777, ended up on the 330 - probably a blessing in disguise as I now have Boeing and Airbus on my licence plus wide body time. As and when my bond is up - i'll be long gone!

If someone has a bond with his current airline, is this a problem with Qatar? (cf Application form)

Do you need to settle the bond prior to joining?

Question Dear Captins/Officers advice/recommendation is needed

I'll be completing my CPL/IR (Frozen ATPL) soon with 240 hours from RJAA-Jordan.
How to get a job at QA or Emirate.
While searching in the recruitments sites I found that all asking for minimum of 1500 hours.

Any advice or any suggestion may be of help to me.

Don't tell me..Mow..:

There have been "TONS " of rumors every year about new package including this year, so far none of them come true.(the latest one released by Kijangnim if i'm correct is.. "nothing" for this year!)
As said before, today i believe one thing, its sunny in Doha and its getting hot,why.. because i can SEE it with MY eyes and i FEEL it!
For the rest nobody is sitting in front of a crytal ball, even if i was i can't read through it!
So far everythink is in the hands of god..well i mean the CEO..

hi all?

any idea about how they assign fleet for f/o?
I have flown with only b737 so far(app. 3000 hrs), so start fly with a320 is not a good idea for my career.
thanks for ur comment previously!
cheers!
