I also just got rejected. I made it much further last time in 2019, and I thought I did really well in the aptitude tests this time around. In the meantime had finished college and started working. Really confusing

As people have said previously, it’s kinda luck that comes into it too. Unfortunately with potentially 1000 or more passing everything, they have to just auto select.

ahh so those who have received regrets today had not had their application reviewed at all when regrets went out last week?
I was under the impression all applications were reviewed last week before regrets and then further revision of the applications was done to eliminate more people this week!

Same here to be honest, and I did a lot better this time with aptitude tests than I did the time I got to Dublin - makes no sense to me

Rejected came into my inbox there as I left my phone in the sitting room on full volume in case of a call - tempted fate
Equally surprised to be honest - I have gotten quite far in the past, and to not even make it past Stage 1 this time is incredibly disheartening. I have a few hours, medical, good job, masters degree, solid CV. Must have not done good enough in the aptitude tests even though I was surprised at how well they went for me.
Til next time.
Question: I didn't upload a cover letter because the system didn't have that option when I applied at the beginning, did anyone else who got rejected not upload one? I'm clutching at straws here but imagine it is an easy way to get rid of large numbers straight away if you didn't submit one.

Also just received a rejection. Have previously made it past group stages to face to face interview. Background is all aviation focused, with flying experience and a degree in Aero Engineering. Obviously looking for something else this time

Nothing to do but chalk this one up to experience, practice tests in the meantime and look at BA and the rest when the time comes! That said, with over 6000 applicants and only 18 places that's less than a 1 in 300 chance so I don't feel so bad - although I doubt the other schemes will be any better!

One thing to remember is that all of Europe can apply for this programme whereas BA later this month and TUI planned for January will be more restricted due to nationality/residency requirements.
It would be nice if, with the aptitudes, everyone was given a breakdown of their scores/percentiles on each test.
