Equally surprised to be honest - I have gotten quite far in the past, and to not even make it past Stage 1 this time is incredibly disheartening. I have a few hours, medical, good job, masters degree, solid CV. Must have not done good enough in the aptitude tests even though I was surprised at how well they went for me.

Question: I didn't upload a cover letter because the system didn't have that option when I applied at the beginning, did anyone else who got rejected not upload one? I'm clutching at straws here but imagine it is an easy way to get rid of large numbers straight away if you didn't submit one.
I was very close to submitting an application again with a cover letter because I was the same (applied on day one with no option of cover letter) but didn't do it. I would cry if that was the reason
