Nicely streamlined experience at NATS and seems to take a lot less time than Gatwick, although obviously if you're in the area then just head to Gatwick.
Surrey, class 1 only needs done in good time for all the paperwork prior to course start dates. Suppose if you get it done earlier then there are no nasty surprises, although you may find you end up having to pay for the renewal yourself if it's due before a course start date, if successful.
LadyL2013, the medical you're referring to is a separate thing, not the class 1.

Hello All,Has anyone heard from (accepted or rejected) from CTC yet? I sent my application off waaaaay before the deadline and have heard nothing to date.

I received an invite for the FTE assessment. I have already completed the assessment at FTE recently so I don't need to re-take it. What should I do?
I'm aware that I still need to go to the interview and the group exercise.

I also received my invitation to FTE this morning. After a quick calculation it seems they will make about Ģ33,000 out of the assessment days before expenditure but fair play to them, got to make money somehow. Good luck to everyone involved.

I applied about 2 weeks ago and received and invite to FTE today.
A colleague applied at the last minute to CTC and received a rejection today. However, he was much better qualified and wrote much better answers in the application than I did (compared notes after submitting).
I wonder how many people who applied at the last minute, particularly to CTC (which is apparently the most popular), actually received an invite?
