I applied about 2 weeks ago and received and invite to FTE today.
A colleague applied at the last minute to CTC and received a rejection today. However, he was much better qualified and wrote much better answers in the application than I did (compared notes after submitting).
I wonder how many people who applied at the last minute, particularly to CTC (which is apparently the most popular), actually received an invite?
