if the email wasn't a mistake.. i guess i will .. cuz i hv ID tickets from my sister ... she's a FA .. and she could even swop her roster to make a flight to sydney.. so.. i could stay in her crew hotel in the same room .. that also save up accommodation cost for me ...

Guys And Gals,
After posting a comment yesterday about still waiting to hear about 2nd rounds in Abu Dhabi, I have so far received private messages from 4 people in the US looking for me to give them information regarding whats coming up on the assessments.
While i appreciate your need for knowledge, unfortunately i will not divulge. If you read back through the early pages of this forum, no one has given out information about the assessments such as what is coming up. While im all for the spirit of "brotherhood" etc I am not going to give you Q&A. If you just came out of a job interview, would you tell the guy who is sitting waiting to go in what questions they asked and hints and tips etc? i think not.
All i will tell you is the following:
1- Assessment starts promptly. Dont be late.
2- Materials are provided such as pen and paper.
3- You will not have a private interview.
4- The whole experience lasts between 2-3 hours with a break inbetween.
PLEASE do not send me private messages as i will not reply. It is only fair to everybody past and present that this is a level playing field.

Can't believe people are STILL trying to coax answers out of people! If you can't do the tests, you shouldn't be considered by Etihad. It worries me that if people are trying to blag the first stage, will these same people be trying to blag their final tests in training? Wouldn't exactly instill confidence in passengers' confidence if the pilots aren't up to scratch.

So, the invitations for the second round are finally here. They'll have quite a work to arrange all the flights
Really?, theres gonna be some major arrangin?, Really?
Theres gonna be some Airbus CJ's parked outside your door? Hmmm? Really?
Really?
The dispatchers are gonna factor some extra fuel in there for ya? Really?
Is that so?, Huh, Really?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
BTW is the test on a computer or paper?

I think you meant me @ page 10 or so, OK...I didn't plan to convert this thread to Arabic or wanted to keep some info for myself, the same thing was said again & again in english... I didn't think about using PMs...I just wanted to write them greetings in Arabic & know if they DO speak/write arabic and their origins (they might be from my place)...but at the end I found out that most of them speak broken arabic (not arabs...u can say) and are living some where else..., even if they spoke solid Arabic I would have switched to the PMs, Sorry Deniz D...PLEASE forgive me, I will never do it again
Goodluck in your assessments & all others...I have a long way to Oct assessments if there were any! (I had a bad dream yesterday about it)...hope for the best for all of us.
Soooo, if you guys (Multi-Linguals) want to speak in other languages please try using the PM [Private Messages] like me...

Yeah August "invitations" went out today anyway - if you didn't ask for this not to worry though as they said you will be invited with the "rest of the world" candidates in November.
Hopefully see some of you there at the end of next week any guesses that if you make it through to the medical you have essentially been offered a job subject to passing the medical and security checks??
Quite exciting but far too much to worry about!!

Hi Matt101
Got the email as well. I guess that if you get to and pass the medical at the end of the 4 days, you have a good chance of being offered a sponsorship.
See you there hopefully
