Good luck anyway!

However all my experience to date has been PPL flying, instruction and survey- never mind the fact that I've got 300 or so ME hours, the most recent 200 or so being multi crew....
I don't suppose they will be biting my arm off but I would like to think that what I'm doing at the moment isn't typical aerial work. How do you get hold of one of these application forms?

BMI Regional Tech questions & Sim
Hi All!
Can anyone give me an idea of areas to study for a BMI Regional interview (and questionnaire) or a heads up on what to expect if I make it to the Sim assessment?
Anyone been through the process (good or bad) with thoughts appreciated... my round at the bar!

Hi, I've been invited to interview soon. Would anyone mind dropping me a line with any useful info. Also, it's a little tough to separate the bmi mainline info from bmi regional, any tips?
Many thanks,

Learn about the Embraer, POF mainly and whatever you have been flying previously. Friendly relaxed interview with no tricks. Well maybe one, remember how to read an approach plate. Otherwise what have you been doing with yourself since school etc. Take a warm coat Good luck.
CC
PS They do recruit quite a few instructors, and be prepared to be based in ABZ for a while

Non type rated f/o's and captains
For those that are ineterested, this week's Flight International has a large ad in the back for BMI Regional, looking for:
Non type rated f/o's, you will need:
500 hours TT and some recognised multi crew experience
JAA approved licence, current IR and right to live and work in UK
Just thought some of you might find it useful! Good luck all!
Chile
p.s Email applications only: john.bell @flybmi.com
Closing date is 7th December 2006

Does bmi regional acknowledge receipt of application forms and/or send a PFO? I applied last year and never heard a thing. Tried again a few weeks ago but nothing this time either.

I can only assume, if you have completed and sent in the application form you did not fully read what was sent to you!
- Clearly states you will not receive acknowledgement of your application
Best of luck!!

It doesn't state that on the application form I completed (or in the guidance notes). However, it mentions that update e-mails will be acknowkedged by JB
Best of luck to you too!

Well, the guidance notes that came with my form clearly state the case:
Q. Will you notify me when you receive my application?
A. No, I receive so many applications that I can no longer send a receipt message.
This has also been replicated in this post somehwere...

Dude~ you're absolutely correct.
Seen as I'm feeling helpful this morning, loftustb, have a look back at post 209 of this thread. It's only two pages previous to this one!!!!!
Pprune is full of useful info - you just have to spend time searching for it!
Anyway - back to topic!
