Captbod

Thanks for your reply.

With only 500hrs it seems an almost impossible mountain to climb.....

I need a job to get experience but need experience to get a job..........

Keep those PFO letters coming........!!

Cheers..........TJ

Most of the recent joiners for bmi regional have had very low hours however they have had to look for pilots with more experience, which ideally includes commercial flying. There is going to be a need for Captains in the near future with none of the low hour F/Os anywhere near the 2500 hrs that bmi regional need for the left seat.

If that is the case JB needs to change his attitude to experienced candidates. It is impossible to display the qualities needed for a direct entry left seat if JB is only going to pass those that are subservient to him during the interview!

Ive got an interview at the end of the month and was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the kind of questions they ask at the interview. I would appreciate any pointers.

Out of interest where did you find the application form? They have my CV but I wasn't aware of the form.

Thumbs up BMI Regional

I have one too. Does anybody know how many pilot's they're taking?

I would also appreciate a heads-up on the typical technical questions likely to be asked.

Just got the call so really pleased, there is suggestion of a written tech exam before the actual interveiw, any feed back as to what they going to ask ?

It has taken over 3 years to get this far, many PFO's, but bang head often enough and some times it does work.

Hi there, here it is my interview:

- 48 question ATPL style, around 30 minutes to answer, 4 answer each question.
- Personal and tech interview with Mr. Bell and another pilot. Lot's af personal stuff and 3-4 tech questions. 45-60 minutes very polite.
That's it! Nothing really strange...
