Why would it be strange?
Plenty of experience at Channel re Royal Mail/Cargo, and why would they want the 748 prop a/c anyway?
Maybe they are interested in other bits. We shall have to wait and see ....
P.S Does anyone know where that Dusty Miller chap went?

Have been told will get money from the insolvency service within the next few days, but this is the minimum government payout, which they in turn will try and recover from the assets of Emerald. This only represents a fraction of what is owed, but I guess I'll have to stand in line with all the other creditors to see any more money from Emerald, I wont hold my breath.

Redundacy Payout
I've been advised that money will be paid out in about 4 days. Got letter over the weekend. Will deduct Tax AND National Insurance.
Don't forget to send in the form (not the pink one) to claim unpaid notice salary. This will have deducted any Job seekers allowance you should have claimed (tough if you ain't cause they deduct it anyway) or wages earned if you are fortunate to get re-employed in the interim!
Anyone know what the wooden posts are for that have being errected toward the back of the car park lining the engineers porta cabins?
Couple of company cars still there given the rust on the disc brakes plus the engineers vehicle.
Nobody has canx the milk either as it's creeping out of the bottle tops. Who should have canx'd that or do the administrators still have deliveries?
Any news of any buyers. All looks a bit sad with those aircraft impounded
All a bit final eh. Time to move on chaps.
