Why is there a reluctance to share on this thread? It would be appreciated if we can have a look by those who ha recently been interviewed.

I did my interview in HK recently, the info shared on the WhatsApp above is Gold (specifically the book).
From my experience the Sim is exactly the same as the profile they send one week before the assessment, if you get the B777 and you fly Airbus then just fly it as if you were flying the bus in Direct Law, smooth control inputs and don’t forget to trim as no auto trimming on Boeing.
The instructors and check airmen on the Sim were super chilled and made sure it was a comfortable atmosphere in there so I really liked that. No traps or hidden tricks, just fly the profile and mind your PM actions at all times as he/she will make mistakes to check your situational awareness.
As for the face to face interview, check this guy’s post as pretty much on spot to what you will get.

Application
Hi all, I recently applied for Cathay as a DEFO wide body and was turned down at the application stage. I met all the minimum requirements and triple checked all the documents prior to submitting. Heavy Jet time 800 hrs. Total time 2600 hrs. P1 hrs etc. were all fine.
After I submitted my application I did receive an email from them asking to resubmit my licence (strange it didn't upload the first time) of which I did promptly. I resubmitted my FCL via the link in their email and it said it was done successfully.
2 days later I was told my application was unsuccessful and they would not progress my application further without any feedback.
Without feedback I'm very confused as to why and believe it was due to 1 of 3 possibilities:
1) For whatever reason the documents did not upload properly
2) Flight crew licence maybe not in line with Hong Kong requirements (have heard they are cracking down on documents hard now)
3) Not competitive enough in this market especially for wide body. As the website says minimum 1500 total but 3000 total is preferred.
My question is has anyone else had a similar experience like this with Cathay and is there a lockout period prior to resubmitting an application (the turn down email said nothing about a lockout period) and also any advice to help get the ok for an interview when I reapply again.
Thanks for your time. Any help will be fantastic!
