Just say nothing
Company making repeated calls for volunteers for extended duty periods and closed loop flying. Don't do it!
The extended duty periods wouldn't be legal in normal times, in these stressed times they are even more unjustified.
The closed loop flying needs to be much better rewarded. More money, more annual leave, better hotels with better food. After all they have done to us, they can just get on current conditions.
There are plenty of idle pilots. Improve the conditions and management of crew, then there might be a bit more up take.

Monthly salary and EDP are a small piece of the pie.
Everyone forgets they took from us leave, retirement prov fund, kids education, housing, medical, release date of roster, the ability to swap flights and not lose money, redundancy clause, the sweep of changes in Rev 7 and finally the worse one.. the first paragraph Under benefits and allowances that states the company will review and change your remuation however, whenever and as much as they want unilaterally until the end of time...

I'm a pilot, I have a job, I'm bitching about my job because the company suck! But I did sign COS18 as I had no choice, so therefore my point is...
My only advice is to 'move beyond', the company have divided you blokes for over a decade and you still think you will change it....😂
There is even a post about why be in the AOA, doesn't that sum up your chances??
Until you get one cultural group into a majority position, you will forever hold out the begging bowl. CX know this from the past and have skillfully identified where to target.
Airing your dirty laundry only confirms you are on a hiding to nothing.

Wow - you lot are really premium judgemental asses aren't you. Cx only recruits the best of the best and that must be why you're here.
Wait till this company is filled with pilots from actual third world countries a few years from now and you'll be missing those saffers you so pi$$ on now.
Go drive a truck in a mine in Aus. Quick. Before the saffers get there!

Wow, interesting...
Vast majority of people I know in the loop are from the OTHER Commonwealth countries, and locals. Many of the Saffers I know didn’t renew their leases and are back in SA indefinitely because it’s so cheap. For some even possible on SLV. So no need for loop flying.

You are right many of them went back home to enjoy the fresh air and escape this place. Lots have now gone back through the Maldives to washout for the Group A bans and are flying again. This is just my perspective from a fair few people I know who are flying now. Lots of SLV is now being denied so it's either sit around DB with your wife being bored or go flying and try and break even for a month.
