FDH contract or COS 18

Just browsed through the conditions of a FDH and realised that there are more protections in that contract than COS 18.

All those public holidays probably equate to COS 18 annual leave.

They even get long service leave 🤣

That's because POS18 is not an employment contract, it is all company policy which the company can alter as it sees fit. Since POS18 gives the company such big savings and wouldn't be legal on any of the bases, the bases had to close.

FDHers also don't have seniority, they can move employers to get better conditions.

I feel confident saying not one cathay pilot has quit, or even contemplated it to become a FDH.

Comparing yourselves to domestic helpers..
.. Get a grip..

if you read it again, you would have realised it not about which career, but what contract has more protections.
