Giving your brother pilot a ration of shiite when well deserved is a time honored tradition in this business and often a term of endearment.
In any case, life has taught me that blowing your trumpet is usually a task best left to someone else. For many reasons.

have to agree Shep.....think about all the guys defending this guy as a nice guy or for sharing info. Like really? your upset he is getting ripped a new one? In any career doing this just means everyone will gloat when you will fall flat....any job and you blow your trumpet there is all a bunch going yeah the fall will be nice to watch.
But how many years have we been all flying into HK and all the typhoons back thru Kai Tak days etc.....and have we had anyone blow their trumpet so loudly and so publicly for just doing what actually thousands have pilots have done over the years? Did he have any thought except how great he is when he posted this BS?
For me the ego that resides here reveals a LACK of humility that is an actual requirement for this job....."your only as good as your last landing". I point to the amazing crew of CX780. Dont see them crowing about it here but they will happily discuss the how, the why and their thinking of their actions for a chat over a beer....willingly pass on their experience ....as many of us do in our daily interactions with our crews...WITHOUT Boasting
