HELP Please
I am not even gonna complain for the obvious.
Benefit Center is unavailable for help which is logical for CX standards.
Already have a Paypal account , trying to get tickets with BA and AA(only after FEB 22nd?). Unfortunately I can only select siberian Airlines is that the case with you guys as well? Did I do something wrong? Please help, cause our dear company won't.

regarding the Questions on first class travel.
I went to one of the briefings by bob.
They are now first class sectors not first class ticket entitlement.
(they changed this with out telling us). But alas it should be an improvement.
The old system was you printed out a F coupon and if you got bumped to J you lost that chance to sit in F. This could even have happened to you on every attempt to use them.
Now they are saying we will have x amount of F sectors (depending on your scheme). So if you book F and get bumped to J you still have your entitlement intact.
Now he said as there is much more chance you'll actually see the F cabin through the year then they have given us less sectors (not tickets).
A slight kick in the balls but then hey he might be right, we may actually see first more often.

gipilot,
I have the same issue.
BA should be there as its effective date was 12-02-2012.
AA isn't available until 24-02-2012.

I don't understand where all these complaints are coming from!
The CE has been saying the whole thing is a success!!!!!
Next thing is they will be telling us they have won an award for this system, along with the IMT department.

We've lost the ability to travel ID90 on a bunch of airlines and this is a success?
What a sad excuse, as usual...

slickrick,
You previously had 6 F tickets which could be up to 4 sectors each, all useable separately. Now you have 6 returns which if you only book one way loses you the return sector. The only improvement is that if downgraded from F you don't lose the F ticket as you did before. You get refunded either way.
Basically, you have lost between 12-18 F sectors.

Unknown communication error
Hey everyone,
I just spoke to a nice German guy at Lufthansa Systems Business Solutions, which runs myIDTravel.
He told me the "Unknown communication error" is because Cathay is sending data to Delta Air Lines via myIDTravel which is not recognized by Delta Air Lines. So, with data which Delta cannot recognize, no one can make a listing or buy an eTicket or ID90 on Delta.
This is an issue which Cathay has to rectify.
Get on the horn boys and girls...

BusyB,
Yeah point taken, but that sounds like an old scheme.
I moved onto F tickets a year or so ago and didn't get 6.
So its just getting whittled down even more now.
So what BN meant was if your on the old scheme you've lost most of your F travel....if you on the new its about even.

I'm trying to book my FOC for next week. Impossible. I have paper tickets from 2011 which Benefits centre confirmed I could still use untill march 30th. In my profile, it says I have 4 used sectors for 2011 and none available...
email password not working
Ahhhh .... the joys of IT - can't get into my emails guys ... any ideas. Did I miss something in the small print.

...soooo, what's happened to all the airlines we used to be able to travel on? Are the airlines listed on the two lists the ONLY airlines we can currently travel on? THIS is what we end up with after who knows how much money is spent on the 'upgrade'....!

This is a joke. Benefits Centre have said that if you do not see the airline on the list, then we do not have an interline agreement with that airline YET. So if you want to fly, for example, JAL- you need to buy full fare. If you had printed tickets before the cutover, you can still use them.
What a massive cockup. This has inconvenienced so many people. Being informed of a list of available airlines BEFORE the cutover would have helped.
Instead they are acting as if the cutover was super successful, congratulating themselves. Come on, we have a handful of airlines that we have interline agreements with that you would never fly. Having said all that, I really shouldn't be suprised by all of this.
