"Who Gives A Toss"
It happens in work places all over the world ... the guy deserves a medal of honor! Anyone who say's they haven't thought about it is a company boy bender.
It was okay in the old days to do your command in the bar and drive back with 5 hours sleep under your belt ... but a quick hummer is unacceptable?

As Edison Chen discovered too, don"t leave photos on your laptop when you are not around. Or when you send it for repair.
Better still, don"t take then in the first place? or is that a bit old fashioned...

Go Slow - Work To Rule
Everyone needs to "Work To Rule" for the next few weeks and send their dog **** train set into a tail spin.
CX can Illegally fire 49 guys get dragged through the courts FOR YEARS, lie in court and NO ONE in senior management gets reprimanded or fired.
CX senior managers collude to cargo fix with other airlines costing shareholders hundreds of millions of dollars in fines and NO ONE is fired.
Yes it was a silly thing to do, but Cathay's only management technique is to sack sack sack. As the do with any other indiscretion that happens amongst they flight crews.

Interesting message from Slosar: "no evidence" to suggest this incident took place airborne!!!
In fact, all evidence suggests it took place airborne. Would this have happened at the gate in full view of the terminal windows? With the cleaners wandering in and out of the cockpit? I don't think so.
SO...Cathay's "thorough investigation" is somehow incapable of developing evidence of the obvious. Are they expecting this statement to go unchallenged
by the CAD? Are they expecting the pilot and flight attendant to back up this statement? Was a deal reached with the pilot and flight attendant to buy their cooperation even after being fired? Has a deal been reached with the CAD?
This should be a good test of exactly how deep the CAD is in CX's pocket...

I am convinced this will actually be of benefit for the CX brand. Sex sells, quite simply.
How many airlines lead their ad campaigns with extremely fit, seductive looking flight attendants? Just look at Singapore,VS,Korean, etc etc. So real porn is different you say?
We live in a world where presidents get BJ from an intern in the Oval office, and he, as DSK will, gets away with it.Porn is widely available everywhere and to anyone, sex scandals from the catholic church to MP's ,and in the premier league anyway. Today a certain Mr Sheen is on the cover of the Sunday Times Magazine, he will soon star in a new sitcom and be (again) the highest paid actor in US TV history. A congressman shows his weiner and celebrities "accidentaly" publish private porn videos only to boost their fame ( and income).
I got many amused mails from friends, all just wanted to know the saucy details, nobody was really shocked, quite the opposite really.
What difference does it make if the guys involved had not been fired but got away with a demotion/ fine etc. ? Aren't they already punished enough by the global publishment of their private parts?
What a hypocritical world.

They lose their jobs?
Aircraft sex scandal costs Cathay Pacific pair their jobs
August 15, 2011, 5:28 amAFP
HONG KONG (AFP) - Cathay Pacific has said two of its employees caught in a set of Internet photos apparently engaging in oral sex on board an aircraft have left the company.
The Hong Kong carrier launched an investigation last week after photos emerged of a woman in a red outfit resembling the Cathay cabin crew uniform performing oral sex on a man, reportedly her boyfriend, on board an aircraft.
"I can confirm that two members of our crew shown in compromising situations in photographs published recently in Chinese-language daily newspapers are no longer employees of the company," Cathay chief executive John Slosar said in a statement released late on Friday.
"I know that many people were disturbed by the damage this incident caused to the reputation of our cockpit and cabin crews."
It was not clear whether the pair were sacked or resigned voluntarily, as the airline said it would not disclose details.
The airline also refused to say whether the incident took place in the plane's cockpit, but said the investigation found no evidence to suggest the act happened on any of its flights while airborne.
Cathay said the findings of the investigation would be submitted to the city's aviation authorities.
"I find any behaviour that recklessly soils the reputation of our company or our team members as totally unacceptable," Slosar added.
The photos prompted action from the Hong Kong flag carrier after they were circulated on an online forum for pilots and later attracted the attention of local media.
The unidentified man in the photo, was reported to be a pilot but was not wearing a Cathay pilot's uniform, has reportedly told a local newspaper that the photos had been stolen from his personal computer.
Cathay Pacific has 13,000 staff around the world, including more than 8,000 cabin crew and 4,000 working in airports, according to its website.
Poor HongKongers.......have to put up with such trash.

Unfortunately, because of this, two of our colleagues are the scapegoats. As said before, more attention should be paid to previous actual law breaking occurrences that some people have "mysteriously" gotten away clean with.
