Was that because the mods felt his case to defend potential criminal charges bought against him by the CAA would be hampered? 99.999% of the cabin crew have seen the original unedited photos and know the names of both parties involved so in a court of law surely it would be unlikely to say that the case was prejudiced.

Most join the AOA for their legal help when required, I, like most AOA members would be keen to see what legal assistance they offer when facing a criminal conviction from either the company or CAA or both.

Actually, the story going about is that the legal action is being taken by the pilot, because the circulating photos are snapshots of a computer screen by someone else's phone.

In that case, probably a bit overly cautious to remove the thread, but understandable.

The operators of this BB have an obligation to stay 'clean', not get involved, never to be dragged through the courts as evidence, never to be seen as showing any kind of 'side'. It is News of The World quality reporting and NOTW quality subject matter, if you want to know more just read the local HKG newspapers, it is bound to be there by now.

Failing that you have two forums for CX exclusive use.

How about, "Mr Slosar, if you want professionals you'll have to pay for them, otherwise expect more episodes like this"

viking avenger 7th Aug 2011 23:25

Photos and videos didn't seem to harm Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashians career. Now for Bill Clinton, Anthony Weiner and all the other politicians it's a different story.

" But your honor, my company rape it's employees everyday, it's the company culture, and your court always turn a blind eye. At least mine was consentual"

This just gives us all a bad name - not just for the act itself but the sheer stupidity, not to say breathtaking arrogance, of recording it.

Guys,

Let's not get carried away, please. Yes there are pictures and yes they are pretty naughty but believe me there are far far worst stuff happenning at the moment than a couple of pictures of which we don't even know are real or well photoshopped.

Believe me this doesn't give us a bad name AT ALL. What gives us a bad name is the bad cockpit/cabin crew relationship we've been having for years(2 teams 2 dreams). Or non united pilots standing opposed to each other again during a period where divide and conquer practices are well active.

So let's relax have a laugh or two and stick with the real problems.

P.s. hell, this might just help the recruitment office, haha.

Flying Mechanic 8th Aug 2011 04:25

CAD getting involved now citing as a Safety issue.

Believe me this doesn't give us a bad name AT ALL.
Seriously? have you read what's in the local chinese newspapers about our complete lack of professionalism. Whats cool in a C152 in the circuit at Bankstown when you are 18 and your girlfriend has skipped school strangely isn't cool on a commercial aircraft with punters down the back.

Every CX wife out there views this as confirmation of what a bunch of lowlifes we are. What about the public's perception of our cabin crew or our cabin crew's perception of us?

Forget about the aviation angle, look at it from the position of a manager in any business using a position of authority over an employee several levels junior to him.

No wonder HR are spinning about it.

Stupid
Irresponsible
Arrogant
Illegal

cxorcist 8th Aug 2011 06:22

Were they in the cockpit? The picture makes it look like they were in F or J class during the lights out period. It appears as if it was taken from the seat ahead. Was it the jumpseat with picture taken from an operating seat? Hope the pilot does not get fired, we are so short staffed as it is. Afraid the FA is definitely toast.

Same CX wives out on the town on the weekend looking to pick up, or on Adultfriendfinder seeking the same.

Sorry.. In HK .. everyone is f+cking everyone, with Swire leading the pack.

Were they in the cockpit?
I've seen the higher def, unedited photo(s).

YES

crwjerk 8th Aug 2011 07:46

Definately in the COCK pit. Service Straight from the Mouth.

ReverseFlight 8th Aug 2011 08:45

Could the photos have been taken in a flight s*imulator in Cathay City ?
Just to keep currency of their stick and rudder skills ?
Their privates should never have been made public.

hongkongfooey 8th Aug 2011 09:25

She might be toast in CX, but by the looks she will make 10 times as much in Wanchai on a Saturday night :ok:

SMOC 8th Aug 2011 09:30

No not a simulator, like others I've seen the unedited pics.

The simulator doesn't have the camera surveillance system which is above her head!

esguerra1 8th Aug 2011 11:21

necktie

in the unedited photos you can see our stylish cockpit crew necktie hanging on the rear bulkhead...how many of us climb into the sim wearing their ties and hang it up on the back wall...

things that make you go 'hmmmmm.....' :\

slickrick 9th Aug 2011 00:45

Who gives a toss what the cabin crew think of us.
That relationship went south a generation ago and will never return.
She had to walk the plank.
No matter what the quality of the photo is, it doesnt show his full face.
