True Color Of Hka

Despite all the other locals (CX and KA) cancelling all flights during recent typhoon - and I might add, a whole bunch of other airlines with common sense, HKA and HKE were the only airlines STUPID enough to keep operating.

Company SOPS state, max take off x-wind wet=25kts.
X-Wind that day? 35kts gusting up to 50kts

Atleast one pilot(western) was smart enough to delay take off until tower report a lull in wind. The others? (Indo snake type) Didn't bother to check wind and just took off anyway. Exceeding company - aircraft limits - and no doubt well exceeding their own limits.

A true indication of these guys mentallity and arrogance. I feel for the pax and cabin crew.

The email sent to crew detailing no tolerance for non-compliance to sops must have been just an ego trip by the managers coz their staff certainly didn't comply. What will happen? NOTHING. It'll get swept under the carpet, just like the death threat, sexual harrassement, and all the other hard QAR's by these guys.

Sadly, it'll take a serious accident for anything to happen, and not after we all warned about it.

Well done HKA and HKE, your antics that day do show us how stupid you really are.

[I wonder how long this post will stay before it gets deleted by the snakes?]

The former CAD chief is responsible for the flight operation of HKA. He should know the rules and regulations very well. How come he could let it from happening?

If these allegations are true, they would be easy enough to prove. Report it to the CAD.

We had a huge laugh!

"Tower, we need at least 25 kts crosswind."

"Bo....., wind 010 degrees, 29 kts gusting 40 kts, clear for take off."

"Clear for take-off Bo... XXX."

Good one boys Everyone else was sitting at the holding point or at the bays, not these guys

Hey maybe some of these guys were trained with crosswinds of 60kts while those sitting out weren't. I heard some others followed thereafter (like EVA).

Fixer ups

The malaise of western pilots ( or so called pilots ) in Asia, Middle East, Africa, Oceania and Latin Americas.......fixing up local natives for the fall. justified or not.

Heard that in KAL, an Ozzie skipper stabbed a Korean crew in the back by going out of protocol to report a violation ( albeit a correct action but highly underhanded ). In HKG, these bunch of human dregs at work!

Mats Abo,

What a well balanced opinion. You must have a chip on both shoulders.
Perhaps you have been fixed up yourself, hence your keen intelect on all things racial.

Some help for Mats abo

Dear Mats, just a few little pointers to help you identify your particular affliction. It is called an "Inferiority Complex" and can be identified by the following characteristics:

1. Sensitivity To Criticism: Although people who feel inferior “know” they have shortcomings, they do not like other people to point this out. They tend to perceive any form of criticism, regardless of how sensitively or constructively it is presented, as a personal attack.

2. Tendency Toward Blaming: Some people project their perceived weaknesses onto others in order to lessen the pain of feeling inferior. From here, it is only a short step to blaming others for one’s failures.

3. Feelings Of Persecution: Carried to its extreme, blaming others can extend to believing that others are actively seeking to ruin you. It allows people to avoid personal responsibility for their failure.

Now the fact that particular people have recently chosen to operate their aircraft outside the manufacturers limitations is indeed a point in fact, not an attack on your "good name" or your country of birth. The fact that most airline accidents appear to occur in certain parts of the world is a point in fact, not an attack on your "good name" or your country of birth.

So it would probably be best for the future if you were to seek out some professional help for the symptoms that have manifested in your good self. This help will no doubt ensure that you are able to maintain your "good name" now and well into the future.

Loser.

The sad part is you don't even know it.

Thanks for your admission of being a complete loser. You came to HKG to get paid twice as much as your job back home!...What does that say? It says that you are not competent enough to secure a decent job in your own country! Hence you traveled half way across the world to find employment.

I don't know of any expat who would rather be in Hong Kong than their home countries. They (you) all came here because you're the left-overs back home.

And how is it that you're getting paid twice as much as a LP when the pay scale is the same? Unless you're blowing NR and Tony Tyler on the side for some extra cash?

Fu@k me you are a bitter little man.

Well I would rather live in HK than my home country due to the weather, high tax and crime rates. I left a very decent jet job to come here. I enjoy it and will stay for a long time....I hope that pi@@es you off.

I also asked you, who do you work for??????

Soooo..................every Hong Konger or Asian person that has gone to work/live overseas is incompetent and a loser? Or by logical extension, every person who does not live/work in the country of their birth is also an incompetent loser. Would that also extend to every local who has travelled overseas to study? And what about those locals that also hold a passport from another country......losers as well?

It's a funny thing really, Hong Kong's wealth was made (rightly or wrongly) by those incompetent bigoted loser expat colonial opium trading bastards that you despise so vehemently, but you are still willing to take part in it all and enjoy the fruits of history. I am in no way condoning what transpired here over a century ago, but I do recognise a hypocrite when I see one. Problem is........your not really bright enough to recognise it.
