No Tsembeit you ignoramus
You are far more ignorant and stupid than I first thought.
We are talking about a company run by incompetent, corrupt singa snakes.
Nothing to do with recession.

The reason I am repeating myself is because thickheads like yourself dont seem to understand what this thread is about. Twats like you obviously need to learn by repitition.
Little advice.......it helps to know the facts before you try to comment on something you don't know about.

Yes Fooey, you are right!
Its a sad fact that there are pilots out there with no sense of self dignity who tolerate this kind of treatment from managers(ie singa snake behaviour) and as a result lower the standards for the rest of us. Its almost a masochistic type of behaviour.
A reflection of some deeper personal problems perhaps?
I'm not qualified to go into that, but you do have to wonder why someone accepts that kind of culture, AND THEN TRY TO SUPPORT IT ON FORUMS LIKE THIS????

I don't think many of you took me seriously when back in June I recommended investing in gold. But if you did, you can cash it in now (sweet isn't it? ). Personally I will hold it for another six months pending how the US economy does in 2010.

HKA Crew Win Court Case
Congratulations to the crew who won their court case against HKA last week.
Maybe Hainan will have to cut back on the Singapore Noodle bonus this year to economise.

That is great news for the crew.
1st question. But why did the judge rule in favor of the pilots this time but not in the previous cases? Does this mean the former court cases against HKA where the pilots lost can be revisited with new evidence?
2nd Question. What did they win? Gratuity? Compensation? Unfair dismissal?
3rd question. Is there a court transcript? (cx 49ers style) If so please share.
Look like you guys will be up for another pay cut or false promise so the company can pay court costs and any compensation (if any) BYE BYE A330’s
Once again. Well done to those involved that put in the effort to fight these guys.

I believe HKA were trying to screw 2 pilots out of their 36 mth gratuity, I am told there were different circumstances to previous cases, and they were close to, if not exceeding 3 years service.
So unlikely the previous cases will be re-visited, however the singawhores not quite out of the woods yet as a door has been left ajar for a discrimination case

Oh, and BTW, nice departure out of HGH the other day.......in 200RVR.
What, did you think nobody would notice ? or did you think that because your professional mates at Air Moocow did it then you could ?
Funny, I looked at the Jepp chart and it says 400
HKA started LVPs then
Pathetic

Confirm or Deny?
Can anyone confirm or deny the rumour that recently a group of "volunteers" where sent to do a conversion course onto the 737-300 and after all was completed and paperwork submitted to CAD the answer from CAD was "that sim you used has not been approved"???
Result: wasted time and money again.

That’s confirmed. It is an absolute comedy.
Could these guys organize getting a burger at McDonalds? I wonder if Hainan know how much these dumbasses are flushing down the singa squat toilet?
I got nothing against Singapore or its people but these particular people are so stupid. The current Singaporean management actually think they are going to have three 737-300 and eight A330 flying by this time next year. Plus the two 737-800 they already have.
They say they will have pilots and air hostess trained for 2*A330 and 3*737-300 by March next year and also have all the permissions and approvals from Moscow, CAD, and for training.
Check back here and see how they are going in 11 weeks from now. That’s the revised revised revised revised launch date

I see HKA/HKE in the SCMP business section today whining about the CAD not approving 50 new destinations including Australia and Europe, do you clowns know how pathetically sad your BS is getting ?
Apparently the CAD are not that happy about the debt to equity ratio they are going to achieve by 2012, some thing like a couple of billion to 120 odd million, where I come from ( bizzaro world ) we call that insolvent. but I guess they would'nt be alone there ( half the airlines in China )
Still crapping on about 2 A330s arriving by May, 5 months away and what is in place ??? Anything ?? other than an Airbus model on the Singa swines desk
Miss So, you are doing yourself a disservice reporting this crap, what a frigging waste of ink and wood

Where's Our ATLA Rights??
The SCMP article was a hilarious read. The Air Transport Licencing Authority was soundly criticised for being over generous with Oasis. For all their good intents, Oasis had an unsound business plan, with a sound bunch of Flight Ops managers. HKA/HKE has no business plan, and an unsound buunch of Flight Ops Managers.
These airlines are the HKIA laughing stock with a long history of unfilled business promises, and a history of contraction with business strategies falling from the sky like a world class Chinese fireworks display.
Some of the vaunted plans in the last two years have included:

Some of the vaunted plans in the last two years have included:
- 22 B737-800s for HKA (currently 2, after downsizing from 8)
- B777's to god knows where (trashed)
- A340-600s to Bangkok, Dubai, and onwards (trashed)
- China Airlines B747-400 wet lease to Abu Dhabi (trashed after gaining the appripriate approvals)

Latest is that Hainan are going to get three A330-200Fs from lessor AirCastle. Since Hainan don't operate their own freighters as such, will they go to Yangtze River, or HKA?
