This is Cathay 2 - PM recieved

Fellow pilots and Pprune'rs,

For some, until further, unknown reason the topic (This is Cathay 2 - Private Mail) that I posted earlier today has disappeared. But ok, here we go again.

Below you will find an PM (private mail) sent to me by another Ppruner. I think the PM speaks for it self. How sad is that .

###############S T A R T ############

FYI
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hey Yeager, these may be anonymous forums but I and many others at Cathay know you are a 400 S/O and you will be leaving for SAS and that your name is Xxxxx Yyyyyyy.

Your continual sledging of the company I work for is starting to really piss me off, and if I know who you are so do a lot of other people here, including LM who is your new boss considering you only have ever flown a wide body sim.

You need to shut your mouth and delete PPrune from your favourites or leave immediately back for SAS, because you never say these things in person, I know this because I have met you and you are no better than the people you are slagging off on these forums.

People of moral fibre do not collect a pay packet from the same company they slag off anonymously.

I suggest you look around CX for true leaders of men like Xxxxx Yyyyyy, Xxxx Yyyyy, Xxxx Yyyy and Xxxx Yyyyyyy just to name a few as it sounds as though you need the direction.

My suggestion is just leave.

Perhaps the moderators were trying to give you (and others) a hint!

Shame on Yeager for publishing what was sent in private!

The saddest thing in your post is you. You are immature beyond belief.

I am sure you are well and truly trusted by your relief commanders - NOT!

I've no idea who the characters in this thread are, nor do I really care. What I'd like to know is who the "leaders of men" are.

I've found over the last few years that in a business environment there is no requirement for leadership, only business sense. Remember, you lead people, you manage resources. Those of us who remember inspirational leadership, not management, have very few recent examples on which to draw, a particular incident being the loss of several members and their families without a D&G procedure.

IMVHO, the leadership in our organisation comes from the left hand seat in most cases.

Sick stuff, but I am not surprised.

Wind your neck in Messiah, you might like to think you are one of the big bully boys in brushwing barracks, in the real world you would have a serious problem with your attitude.

Buttie Box,

Big difference between commanders and leaders.

People follow commanders often with reluctance or by necessity but will follow leaders with desire.

To know how to lead is to motivate and encourage those to follow and believe. To simply bark out orders you quickly become the topic of derogatory comments.

There are leaders in CX but there are many commanders too IMO.

Yeager

I would like to suggest that you harness the energy which you would normally use to insult your colleagues and slander your employer, and then focus it on your function within the company. That way you might not only be happier, but also a more efficient cog in the works. You will be surprised at how much more enjoyable life is in general when you're not incessantly complaining . . .

Ciao,

J.W. I find great happines in my life, prob more than most. Even at work Im happy mate, but I do realise that to a great extend thats because I know I could leave this joint any time - and have even more fun! Nice
Thats unfortunately not what this is about. This post is to show how the minds of the (some) "people" works. How pathetically somebody tries to threat (or suggest) and excercise self censur.
You may live in China and you may work at cathay, both may lead you to belive that the right to opinion and the freedom of speech is not a right - fair enough, you set and accept your own limitations. Fortunately most of the rest of the western world have long ago envolved and matured to a higher level. Someday China and even cathay will follow along.

C.D.Q. - Just another post that speaks for it self. You just dont understand it do you. Hey whats that thing about "relief commander".. A joke? As if I give a damn. Get over it mate.

BuzzBox - Not the reason mate, Ive checked that one out. Some other low life chick apparantly put out name and details about somebody and the post was binned.

CP Dude - Agree. Cultural background and education among others contributes to an individuals definition of a leader. Within the culture of CX - no doubt a leader is often defined as something like a commander. Right. News.

Cruising Speed - Most likely. Most likely.

Smile

There are approx 2000 pilots in CX and plenty of them are great to fly with and would be assets to any airline and a few are not. Yeager is one of those few.

The private message was a heads up that his identity is known in CX. He may need that safety net at SAS sooner than he thinks if he continues to use words like imcompetent when referring to his new boss who he admitted he doesn't even know. Take it or leave it no one cares at all.

His references to the 49'ers are laughable as

1. He wasn't even here when it happened and
2. He didn't think twice about joining the company to help fill the 49 vacancies.

I am amazed that he has so much anger and negativety towards CX yet he is quite happy to accept their money every month like a spineless git, and to then display a private message on a public forum says more about him than any words I can write here.

Constructive criticism is one thing but the mindless rants directed at me and an overall good group of pilots just wears a bit thin coming from a brand new nobody.

If it is so bad then just leave and stop being a hypocrite.

The Mess.

Im not gonna waste time on personal assults on you Messiah - your attitude and methods speaks for it self.

Regarding the 49ers - the company sacked.

1. You are right - I was not here. Again, that does not preclude me from having an opinion on the matter.

2. You are wrong - I did think twice, and I did not join until the membership of the AoA lifted the employment ban.

I have no anger towards cathay - but I definatly have opinions about it - as do many others. They may not be the same as yours - which you obviously have a problem with - never the less thats the way of life. Dont give me crap about personal attacks on you, thats just pathetic. Get over it.

I receive a pay (a **** pay actually!) to do a job, that gets done. Shutting up or taking a shaft is not part of that job.

Messiah-

Pretty sad of you to use the 49 reference yourself:

1. YOU were here when it happened and did nothing but run/hide and leave 49 of your coworkers out in the cold. Sure you probably protested..but only in the bar to your mates..net effect=zero

2. YOU didnt join during the ban..but you sure did take the upgrades into those 49 available spots, then blamed the new joiners for taking the open spot you left behind...shameful behavior mate. The fact is that all the 49'r slots were filled from with the company, by guys just like you.

That is ridiculous I don't care when you joined. I only mentioned the 49'ers in response to Yeagers often mentioning of them when slagging the company to say he has done nothing to help the situation so shut up. So he is no better than the rest of us. I am not defending the company simply most of the people I work with.

Bottom line he is a pain in neck in the cockpit so why would he be different here?

I am bowing out of this battle to see who has the smallest dyck carry on children without me.

Big Deal

CX is full of junior guys who's only aim in life is turning up for work to hit the bunk and scoff the sandwiches! They also have an inate knack of pissing off the cabin crew. It's amazing that as early as dispatch/ft planning the first question out of their selfish little gob is.."when can i hit the sack"....
It's quite amazing the number of these guys who think they can actually fly???
