Observed glacially slow access at 16:00 to 16:30 UTC this 18-AUG-08 from the USA, Western Pennnsylvania just north of Pittsburgh. Long & Lat included in profile.

Similar logjam noted at 21:45 UTC. There's a cord with a knot in it somewhere. <G>

I agree: It's running great here (UK) at the moment.

PPRuNe used to be the fastest of all the message boards I visited. If IB are on to the problem and keen to fix it, I hope that it will return to its former operational glory.

All of today and PM yesterday, the reply page didn't fuction. The Font and Size showed blank and none of the accessories worked. It would let me type but it wasn't going anywhere on "submit". It came straight back with the message too short caption.

This was on a MoD computer (not in Firm's time) running Windows NT. I'm assuming that the fault isn't a general Pprune one and something must have changed settings. Clues to the source would be appreciated.

I don't own this space under my name. I should have leased it while I still could

GBZ, it was reported that yesterday or the day before and it was OK yesterday as it is now. One thing that didn't work was the edit function of posts that pre-dated the fix.

I had one issue just now with the Smilies to the right of this reply window. About 5 or 6 were displayed by name and symbols like : ) rather than the smilie.

Ctrl-F5 fixed that.
