PPRUNE got a mention on R4 News this morning at 8 O'Clock - re QF depressureisation - not a explicit PP Ref but "A technical forum on the web" prepare for Server busy messages today - me thinks.

Further to my last - error message reads:
Line:910
Char: 2
Error:object expected
code:0
URL:http://www.pprune.org/forums/newthre...newthread&f=13
Happens with 'reply' also, but only in IE
On normal page view it is
line:2121
If I turn off 'display script debugging' I am inundated with apparent script errors????'
EDIT: Appears to be a 'personal problem'.... as this is my laptop and it is ok. HOWEVER I also now have a XML parsing error when I try and start FFox on my desktop. Currently uninstalling FFox 3.0.1 and downloading ie7. Damn these aliens...........
EDIT2: IE7 and a reinstall of FF3 appear to have sorted whatever 'it' was.

There appears to be a time stamp problem in the The Really Really Boring And Totally Pointless Snippets Of Information Thread MK X,
Halfway through the day it reverts back to early morning.

Site Navigation.
- Three posts to day, updates fine - but as per prev - navigation between threads, is very slow. Its peculliar to PPRUNE - the rest of the "interweb" seems OK. (using IE7, Clone, Norton - BT Home Hub)
Thanks.
Thanks.

Let's just say that if you don't want to see any DB errors or suffer the site slowdown problems, then you should move to the USA.

Totally off topic.
Sick of the message
I really do not have anything to contribute but I have to be a member to read things.
I just dumped a post in here so the message goes away for a while.
Hello limp_leek, it appears that you have not posted on the forums for several weeks. Why not take a few moments to ask a question, help provide a solution or just engage in a debate with other members in any one of the forums?

One thing I've noticed (F/F gives me a running update as to the loading of selected page) is the fact it's displaying "waiting for???" on most occasions this is due to the loading of an advertisement on selected page. Daz
Incredibly S-L-O-W & almost impossible to get onto Pprune today - all afternoon & evening.
When I do get on, change thread & its back to " Cannot find server"
Absolutely awful.
