Does any current COPA pilots know of any recruitment and hiring for B737 FO's for 2012?

With an endless supply of kids in Panama willing to go in debt (the goberment will fund the flight training and they pay it back) and 250 hours TT they have PLENTY of applicants from the locals.

I doubt any OUTSIDE F/O hiring for some time......JMHO

Thats cool Sonny. Yeah, I dont blame you and my eyes and ears are open once I acquire my 500 pic. This qol and pay is ridiculous along with the 66 percent failure rate from totally competent pilots wtf! Does star alliance know about this. Nobody told me anything about whats going on down here otherwise i would not have quit my previous gig to play job roulette!

I always wonder if the Star Alliance partners know about some of this s$%^ going on at COPA. I will be spending some effort to make sure the right people are informed.

what about FOs?

Most, if not all, of what I've read here is regarding Capts, can anyone give any tips on how is it regarding selection/interviews for FOs?
Thanks in advance.

Nothing like a BIG RUSH to get you down to Panama then sit around for a week waiting to start class.

Habanos helped ease the pain, and not to forget GOLDEN TIME for a little massage therapy! LOL!

I read that they're desperate for pilots.

Any chance for a foreign pilot with 250 hours to get hired there? There is more chances if I go there directly for see the HR?

You can expect to fly how many hours per year when you fly for copa?

thanx

Simply look at the following page and look at "Mandatory Requirements" for foreign pilots to answer your question.

I already read it, but they're desperate for pilots. I was just wondering if I could have any chance by going directly there. I don't mind to sign a 5 years contract if they give me a chance.

What about obtain a panamean citizenship, is it a very long and complicated process?
