Im pretty sure you cannot have any tattoos on your arms. Only in places where they absolutely will not be visible.

Im looking forward to the open day in toronto. I was gonna fly down to washington cause I just want to go for it right now. Its like ripping off a bandaid, the longer I wait the more anxious I get lol. I might go to the NYC one instead Im undecided.

In the meantime Ive decided to improve my resume. Im taking a first aid class in february so thats exciting.

We're having interviews in my town for Emirates cabin crew.

I've read many of your posts and I only have one question.

Being 6'3 (193cm) tall - will this be a problem? Is there a maximum height for a cabin crew? Because if they have some sort of height limit and I'm over it I won't even bother going to the interviews.

Guys can have tatoos on their arms cause their uniform has loong sleeves, girls absolutely not! Not a chance, they also wont allow you to cover it if it is on your wrist!

Crammond I you will be fine, I am sure there is a maximum height for cabin crew (imagine how hard it is to work in such a confined space when being tall -> also, the taller you are the more likely you will suffer from back ache from the constant bending down) but with 1.93 m it is ok, I met many crew who are that tall!

You have have AIP? For how long?

2 weeks. However I didn't check my profile straight after the FI , so it might be less. But if they changed it to AIP after finals it'd be 2.
I had to resubmit pics on the day after FI but I feel it would be nice to send more pics , hopefully it won't slow down the process.

Btw, anyone knows if they've started recruiting more males recently?

Me my AIP is over a week and they already contacted people in my FI so it worries me loads and someone here on the forum wrote he had AIP for long time and its not good sign.
About boys recruited they are recruiting a lot I read on the forum many people had FI with more boys at this stage even me! There were 4 girls rest guys

And what about "under review" status since 1 week now? people from my FI have their AIP since yesterday... im very suspicious

I had the interview 2 weeks ago and I'm expecting call soon, hopefully. My concern is about medicals, Im really healthy and everything, but recently I discovered that I'm slightly color blind (I can see and recognize all colors, but yet i fail at ishihara test). Anyone know is it preliminary? If so, should I bother at all spending money and time on medicals If im not gonna pass it?

About your under review I understand how you feel, mine took over a week to turn to AIP. If others turn to AIP then you will soon.

What they say about vision is:

Unacceptable:
- Spectacles for visual correction
- Visual field defects
- Functionally monoculas vision

Hello everyone

My FI was 14.1.2012 in Rijeka. Im so happy to announce that ive gotten my GC today. My DOI is at 25.3.2012. Could someone please send me the medical form in a private message so i can start as soon as possible with my medicals. I wish everyone who is waiting their GC good luck. :) I was so excited about getting the GC that i forgot the name of my recruiter :* I hope that wont be a problem in the future.

I had my FI on Jan 21st in Edmonton, checked my portal this morning and it says AIP. can anyone tell me how long I should expect to be AIP? and what is the status that comes after that?

did they ask you anything about your last FI ?? just wondering....i made it to the FI in nov and got the rejection email....so you tried again after a year and made it to the FI again?? I wish you the best

i'm so happy for you...right now i'm still sad i never made it after my FI.....did you do anything different just trying to think what went wrong for me.And should i do anything different when i try again after 10 mths.....did you tell them you made it the last time to the FI and did they ask you anything

Those of you waiting 1 week for a status change.. It's been 9 WEEKS since my FI and I am still in AIP!! Finding it so hard to be patient now.. :(
People in my batch have had rejection and also their GC's.. Only thing I can think of is I'm 1 week short of 21.. Maybe they cannot offer me a job until then?
