The Hogan Assessment can be done in your own time but they give you a time frame to complete it or was that not the case for you?

Completed the Video Interview today. I will be suprised if I get through to the next stage after that!
They asked 3 very simple and general customer service questions but I just stumbled.

Another one here who just did the video interview and is waiting to hear. Agree with above that it was a very bizarre thing to sit there and watch yourself answer questions.
Don't get discouraged, I am sure you did better than you thought, I am sure they expect some level of nerves and stumbling given the format.

CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who has made it to the next stage! That's so exciting! Can I ask if you've flown before and did you go for Sydney or Melbourne? I applied for Sydney and have never been cabin crew. Received an email on Friday just saying they're processing the applications.

Hi everyone. First-time poster here. I'm intrigued as it seems people are having slightly different journeys to others. I am an external applicant with current flying experience. I applied for MEL base 18 days ago and on the 15th day (3 days ago) I was invited to complete the video interview - which I completed that day. It appears some applicants have been asked to complete a Hogans assessment/quiz, yet I haven't done one of those? Does anyone know why?
Best of luck to everyone!

incorrect info
This is all incorrect not sure where you have received your information,
There is no such thing as 3 dollars per hour, and the allowance in LAX is more then that.
There is no such thing as 3 dollars per hour, and the allowance in LAX is more then that.
If you work on the mainline fleet being 747/A330 you will receive approx $1400.00 per fortnight after tax you will also be paid the incidental payment for block hours flown at approx $3.00 per hour. There are not a lot of routes where overtime would be paid therefore to be on the safe side you can bank on the $1400.00 per fortnight plus allowances in local currency. After year 1 the base salary increases slightly.
On the A380 fleet as this is flown to long range routes you will be paid overtime on just about every trip therefore your base pay remains the same $1400.00 after tax plus incidental payment and overtime therefore if you did 2 trips in a pay period your could expect to receive in your bank account anywhere from $1600.00-$1800.00 per fortnight maybe more but you have to remember the only consistent component will be your base pay. On top of that allowances paid in local currency.
In regard to allowances its very complex to explain as it is calculated on Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack with a total if you were in a slip port covering all those meals. However the business provides meals onboard say inbound and outbound to/from a slip port therefore you may only receive part of the total payment. AUD $200.00 per day is about right if you are on the A380 fleet the average I would say is between $150.00-$200.00. Remember you have to pay for all your food, drinks, etc etc from the allowance and suffer exchange rate losses or profits when you convert your allowance back to Australian dollars.
As an example if you were on a 4 Day Los Angeles trip you will receive approx USD $135.00 for your entire stay that is approx AUD $180.00 deduct your expenses while up in Los Angeles.
On a 3 day Singapore trip depending on arrival time you will receive approx SGD $119.00-$210.00 if we take the max allowance for a 3 day trip being SGD $210.00 that is AUD $199.00 again you will need to deduct all your expenses while in the slip port.
Allowances vary greatly depending on aircraft fleet and your destination therefore be very careful trying to work these into your calculations when working out your cost of living etc. Some fortnights and months you may get great allowances and overtime others not so much.
I hope this basic information helps. At the end of the day it is a fantastic career working with the best airline in the world and the opportunities for future promotion are there but its important you go in knowing some basic facts. Once again good luck.

My progress was quick, applied app closing day, and advised of video int the following Friday. No previous airline experience. I feel the same as above posters after doing my video interview this afternoon. It's a bit awkward. I guess if you do lots of Vlogs it would feel a bit more natural. Questions are customer service based.

Hey Tango90, I suspect (and I base it on nothing) that if you are like me and did the Video interview just before the weekend- in my case on Thursday afternoon, it may take them a little time to review it and then notify us one way or another. I assume the recruitment team don't do weekends so hopefully we will all hear something early this week.
