You get an option I think if you want to work for A380 or main fleet (B777/A330/A340). When I joined there was no A380 so we were working on main fleet and had to apply to work on the A380 once it arrived but with the new crew coming in I think you have a choice- there was some rumors that they need a lot of crew on A380 so assign crew to work on certain fleets with no choice and on a later stage have an option to move from fleets.

I'm working on main fleet due me me not wanting to do the conversion to A380, but I have a few friends that work on A380 that loves it. I'm staying on the main fleet's my wife is on it aswell but it is purely by choice.

Hey guys, I've been through the entire forum and this question has been asked many times but never answered properly.
Has anyone heard of somebody receiving the Image and Uniform Declaration form (grooming email) and not being accepted?

hej, everybody! I have been reading this thread since OD, which I had on 13th of August. My FI was 14th of August. Got GC 25.September and my DOJ is 28.November.
I think my head will explode now, when I think that I have to manage to do all that medical check, because, I have to manage to fix my teeth
yaa.. seems funny, but takes a lot of time and then I don t have those vaccinations 
I really hope that I will manage to do everything.
Just wanted to ask, it s not clear for me about that smear. I understood that once u go to Dubai it is not obligatory to do Gynecologist test one more time?
And will dentist also check you there?

Kroblix From my experience: I received the grooming email and I was called a few days after...
I don't really know people who received the grooming email and then was rejected, but you have to be prepare for everything just in case...

INTERNAL HIRING
If you were shortlisted on their internal hiring for emirates cabin crew, would it be much easier to get in? Any idea, guys? Does one need to go through group discussions, written tests before the FI?

My Final interview was Aug. 15th. We made it to the FI just 13 people.
One girl and me were called 2 weeks after the FI, It took me one week to send all the documents, so I guess the 6 weeks starts once you have sent all the documents but I think that they already know who they are going to choose to go to Dubai.

Hey guys,
I'm a little confused about the email I received from emirates recruitment and was wondering if anyone else in Australia or even elsewhere.
I registered 4 days ago to attend the open day in my state (Melbourne) and received an email yesterday, to sum it up it says:

TThank you for your application regarding the position of Cabin Crew with Emirates Airline. We are pleased to inform you that we are conducting a Recruitment Open Days, the details of which are given below.

Does anyone know why I only received these choices of OD regions since they are outside of my own? Is it an advantage? I’ll still travel to NSW on the 8/10 but was curious. Is anyone else in the same situation/had the same issue?
Are certain candidates allocated to certain regions like the ones mentioned in the email or is it just about the dates?
2. Do all the candidates that registered for the open day receive this email or just a selected group of applicants?
Appreciate any feedback!

golden call!
Hi
I had my final interview in Toulouse last week and got the golden call today, 10 days after! I' m so happy and proud of me!
My DOJ is 12th December
I just want to thank everyone in this thread. You really helped me by sharing your experiences. I spent hours reading your posts to be ready for my open day and it worked!
