thank you Mari! they did not tell me the fleet, I am in the process of my medicals and they are driving me crazy!
mostly because -no one wants to do me only the hemoglobine count, they do all the complete blood and there are other 12 values near hemoglobine and I have 3 a bit out of the range.. my family doctor told it's ok, but I dont want to send it like this. The hemoglobine is ok (13), but how to do to send only this one!?.. if any of you can tell me how did you do?

I am sailing in the same boat with you.I applied on the very date the advert was posted and never got any invite.My status still reads applied.I also applied for the June one and was never shortlisted,so I dont know if I applied so soon or?But I am keeping the faith.

Can anyone tel me when emirates are coming to kenya for an AD or OD,and anyone from kenya to tell me any experience with them??oh and those who contact the HR what did they say????DETAILS......and also applied to kenyans about KQ,is it that nowadays they only recruit people from their college...

QR/EK 12 Month Rule
Hi there everyone,
Just wondering if someone might have the OFFICIAL answer to my question. Im ex-QR crew, resigned on nov 10, 2010. I would like to attend the EK open day in Toronto on Sept 10, 2011. From what Ive been told, I must wait for 12 months to have passed from the moment I resigned from QR to the moment I apply to EK. Then I read that its actually only 11 months that must past from resignation to application. I've tried googling the CC HR department number - impossible to find!! Would someone be so kind as to either give me a concrete answer or provide me with a phone number so that I can call and figure this out once and for all? Thanks a lot! Happy & Safe Flights to all!

Why not go to the Open Day and ask? Until you've handed in your CV I don't think you're classed as having applied. So if you don't give them any details about yourself, and ask the question, you can get the answer direct from HR.
If they say it's 12, then you can thank them and come back to the next one with application ready. Good luck.

It s been 10 days since my final interview! And m online status still states "application under review"... Does it mean i have been unsuccessful and will get a rejection email soon... ? I m really stressing out here people

Latina you can expect your answer anytime within six weeks or maybe more... That status doesn't mean anything else than what it says: your application is being reviewed. Other statuses don't indicate whether you're being hired or not except for 'unsuccessful' or 'you'll be contacted...'

about the QR thing and the period of waiting..I heard that the period of waiting is not applicable anymore, so you can apply at Emirates anytime. I will write you the HR number in a PM so you can ask on phone before going there. But I repeat 90% I am sure that the waiting time is over, they agreed to let applicants leave QR and join Emirates even after 1 day.

Im thinking of attending the Open day in brisbane next weekend. On average how many people attend these days and then as a guide how many make it to the next stage? I wanting to weigh up my options, as Ill be travelling interstate for it
