Well it's good to see something happening at long last. Hopefully there will some jobs available .... once the aircraft are flying.

I just wonder when I will be able to pay my bills from Christmas?

All I have to say is "End Off" "Wind Your Neck In" and lean how to put correct dates on a board before having a go at me.?

Well, it looks like management have achieved to divide the troops.

I was naive enough at the begining to give them (directors) some credits, but not really supporting them as I can't really understand how you would support inviduals not keeping their promises. After I was made redundant I was asked why I was looking for a job because the aircraft will fly gain soon and perhaps I should wait. I'm glad I didn't wait. We were all given a pair of pinky glasses. It looks like some of us have decided to wear them.

JM
left the remaining Directors with many large problems
It was their [remaining directors] problems too as they didn't stop him. Did they try? Did someone receive a fat bonus just before JM left?

No point telling me to "wind my neck in" as I will not accept it for as long as I'm owed money...at least.

Whoa guys! steady on.

nm2009 - I disagree. We do not KNOW who is to blame for what happened to BlueStream. We have been told various acusations. We have heard various rumors. We know there is an ongoing civil court case. We know very few facts on which to come to a sensible conclusion for ourselves though. We KNOW that the Administrators are investigating. Hopefully they will find the facts and I sincerely hope that, IF any transgessions or dodgy dealings are found that had a direct impact on the failing of the company (other than the general economic downturn, of course) which resulted in me and around 30 of my colleagues being out of work and owed money, then those (singular or plural) responsible DO get what is coming to them.

jeteasy1 - Sorry to be picky, but you stated that you wanted to point out some facts and then went on to state a couple of opinions. Nothing wrong with opinions (or rumours etc), but they are not facts. Do you specifically know what the "large problems" were left by JM, what was done about them and how that led to the failure of the company? Feel free to PM me. Don't forget, CW was financial director before JM left and MD after. MP was the 65% share-holder before and after (didn't become a Director until Oct 2008 - what is that all about?). DW's company has been responsible for the accounts all the way through.

The fact is, wether or not there is blame to be apportioned in the failing of BlueStream and questions over who is to blame, as directors and company secretary MP, CW, PM and DW are responsible and accountable for what happened and how it has been handled. It's no different to being the Captain of an aircraft. I have stated some facts previously about how it was handled and the conclusion I have come to is that, something is distinctly "wrong".

I'll leave you all to come to, and express, your own conclusions.

I am happy to listen to any facts that might make me change my opinion/conclusion - but the directors can't talk to us.

LGW Aircraft Management Limited

Is anyone knowledgeable of the role of a corporation called LGW Aircraft Management Ltd?
It may be possible to state that this company operated BlueStream Aviation aircraft, without BlueStream Aviation’s permission.
Termination of BlueStream Aviation legally binding contract(s) have still not taken place, therefore LGW Aircraft Management had no viable or justified right to engage.
The corporation seemed to exist in recent times, and traded with activity both financial and logistical terms.
Did any of the contracted full time employed staff of BlueStream Aviation work for LGW Aircraft Management Ltd?
It has materialized that both Directors have resigned in very recently. Is anyone aware of why this would be?
Has any of the staff had any dealings with Mr. Cy Williams (BlueStream’s Financial Director) in the capacity/representation of LGW Aircraft Management Ltd?
Have any Suppliers / Contractors / Staff / any associated person(s) received finances and/or assets from LGW Aircraft Management Ltd, if so why?
If so, did anyone receive remuneration from LGW Aircraft Management Ltd?
LGW Aircraft Management appears to have employed Mr. Paul Winston Munro, as a consultant around the period of November 2008 according to statements and confirmation of the printers records for Mr. Munro’s business cards, is anyone aware of this?
If anyone knows answers to the above questions, it should be reported to the administrators
Lastly, at present anyhow, is anyone aware of contact details for Mr. Munro, or his whereabouts for general correspondence only, whether it would be place of residence, contact telephone numbers, employment?

Are any of the staff or contractors / suppliers / associated parties of BlueStream Aviation aware of the reason, for the existence, of MAS Airways Ltd, bearing the company registration mark 06302059?
This company, bearing the mark 06302059, named M.A.S Airways Ltd, was established by Mr. Cy Williams and Mr. David Williams on the 4th July 2007. They remain shareholders, and are the only beneficial members of the organisation.
Be Conscious of the dissimilarity of the company registrations, as the M.A.S Airways in query has the same registered address as the bona fide MAS Airways Ltd which was sold to a hedge fund manager.
Has anyone received remuneration from this company before or after the principle MAS Airways ltd changed to BlueStream Aviation Ltd?
Please be extremely clear on the inconsistency:
MAS Airways Ltd / Bluestream Aviation held a licence to operate aircraft commercially with the Civil Aviation Authority, bearing the mark, GB2237.
It had directors, namely: Mr. Michael Platt, Mr. John Matthews, Mr. Cy Williams, Mr. David Williams.
It has the mark, 04094188.
This is the correct MAS Airways.
Below, the MAS Airways which had no reasonable existence or cause to trade:
It bears the mark, 06302059.
It held no licences, and was not recognised by the Civil Aviation Authority.
Is anyone aware of its bank account(s), branch(s), and name(s)?
Did any associated company or commercial vehicle, engage in this company knowingly or not, through financial transactions or asset transfer(s)?
Is any party or individual connected with the Northampton Court judgement, which took place on 30/01/2009?
The judgement found both directors guilty and where fined £65,561.
The case reference number is 9X085007.
Information will be received in confidence.

I have contacted Grant Thornton, the Administrators. They claim the postings from "Unidentifiedofficial" are not from them.

While I (and I know others) can, and are happy, to help* with some of the questions, I require to know who I am dealing with. How can you claim "Information will be received in confidence" regarding information sent to a body you do not represent?

Incidently this information, some of which I was aware and is easily obtained from Companies House or any Credit Check web-site, contributes to my conclusiion that "something is wrong".

That's the one. I believe the ex-Engineering Director saved the day for the crew.

I understand "RSXL Management Ltd" (company registration 06854901) is operating one or more aircraft now. I'm sure that has got it's house in order by now though.

This speculation is all lots of fun to read, I might give up reading my novel and spend all my time reading this thread.

As far as i know the second MAS co was originally setup as Bluestream to hold the compnay name while John sorted out all the transfers within the CAA, this allowed the recruitment/expansion process to start under the Bluestream name. When the time came for MAS to officialy become Bluestream the companies basically changed names. this second company is dormant and has never done anything.

JM did leave the compnay last year under varying speculative circumstances which are all in the past. When he left, the company wasn't in the best of health but everyone in the company tried their best to sort it out. Presumably the Economic climate really didn't help matters and it obviously became too much to sort.

Bluestream is gone now and i am sure everyone involved is sad that it didn't continue, but heh these things happen. We can all point fingers and come to many conclusions as to what has happened, will we ever know the whole story, probably not. It seems simple to me but as long as you all keep these posts going you are going to make my very happy everynight I sit down a read the stories.

Thank you so far.

Thank you for the information received so far. It is supportive to documents accumulated up to this point.
Conclusion of LGW Aircraft Management Ltd is quite consistent, and dependable.
For your information,
From statements and some private information/forwarded messages gathered through using this forum / public domain, it is possible to move on with investigations.
LGW Aircraft management Ltd seemed to have held a private treaty on the operating agreement and lease arrangement(s) with Bluestream Aviation with no resolution document(s) from the shareholders or Directors.
By treaty, it is alleged that the operating Directors knowingly transferred the contracts without auction or sale for aircraft bearing the marks of GRSXL and GIKOS. It would appear this was not at arm’s length transactional purpose either.
That is to say that LGW Aircraft Management served no business-related rationale.
The directors where operating assets that had binding contracts with BlueStream Aviation.
This information seems contrary to any of the testimony(s) given thus far by the above mentioned, in addition the Financial Director of Bluestream Aviation (still employed and active at the point in question) prepared invoices for the LGW Aircraft Management, which knowingly bypassed profits for BlueStream Aviation ltd.
That is to say, that the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA here on) Appointed director, Mr. Paul Munro was actively pursuing LGW Aircraft Management whilst BlueStream Aviation was still trading, Whilst Mr. Cy Williams was actively producing invoice documents for LGW Aircraft Management that was taking BlueStream Aviation Gross Profits whilst the company was trading.
This behaviour of directors once proved is indistinguishable of that of intent to fraudulently divert profits of Bluestream Aviation to LGW Aircraft Management Ltd.
At all times the Financial Director’s (Bluestream Aviation) father, Mr. David Williams was authorising the payments through the accounting organization Cynicklee Ltd, which seemed to act as the accountant for BlueStream Aviation, the second M.A.S Airways, and LGW Aircraft Management.
This would seem to be a complete conflict of interest.
Thank you for the comments regarding the other small aircraft, and it would appear that a flight was being organized for one of the top traders of Louis Bacon, of Moore Capital Management LLP, 1 Curzon Street, London.
The above incident took place when Mr. Michael Platt’s C.A.A appointed director of BlueStream Aviation ltd, along with Mr. Cy Williams, who is Mr. Michael Platt’s appointed Managing Director, took instructions to illegally operate the aircraft GDWJM.
One can only assume that by being an active CEO they were acting on behalf of instructions from Mr. Michael Platt of Bluecrest Capital LLP hedge fund, this would also make sense, as it was for the another hedge fund corporation, namely Moore Capital.
Government officials, from the CAA got involved with the intervention of the senior management who became aware of this and management to stop the actions of Mr. Michael Platt’s Directors, and then engaged in correspondence with the engineering president of BlueStream.
Mr. Michael Platt’s directors appear to have received instructions and tried to commit an illegal offence by flying and aircraft with no valid paperwork, which tantamount to criminal intent.
I would like to focus on the use of personal monies.
It is not clear at all why the Chairman and majority shareholder would give instructions (if he did so) to the directors to inform some of the employed staff to pay company costs on their private / personal credit/debit cards and/or cash. Why would this happen?
From what is clear, there is a major hedge fund manager, who completed frequent customary personal flights with the arrangement of them still unclear, and intentions still very much doubtful and sceptical, whilst informing his directors to ask the staff to support his company?
Does anyone have information of this?
So far it appears that a multi Millionaire has used a private company for massive tax advantages, and then asked the Directors not to pay the employee’s wages, expenses, and furthermore, withhold the crucial paperwork to stop them gaining tax benefit(s) and/or further employment. Why would Mr. Michael Platt allow that?
Does anyone know of a reason why staff where deprived of the right to a meeting with the directors?
Does anyone know why Mr. Michael Platt of Bluecrest Hedge fund, as Chairman failed to explain why his Directors made a four line email to the staff, instructing them all they are redundant?
Any information on the reason Mr. Cy Williams when communication is achieved, states he cannot engage with the staff or contractors because he is not allowed to by the Administrators, yet can confirm that he has only ever acted on Mr. Michael Platt’s instructions?
Lastly, thank you for the information regarding Mr. Paul Munro we will try to locate him in that area.
Is there any information regarding the decision to stop the company operating after it already reached its tax loss target?
More information on the way that the staff were treated by these public figures would be gratefully received.

I know that Mike Platt’s in-house lawyers are watching this site. I know ex directors of Bluestream are now writing here and watching likewise.
I know that I am going to get even more spiteful calls and outrageous statements from you in the next 15 mins.
Good morning to you, I trust you are keeping well?
As this is in written format you will be saying this is “libel”. But you are wrong.
When an individual or company brings a libel case, they must show:
  1. That the words are defamatory of them;
  2. That the words would be understood to refer to them by even one other person; and
  3. That the words have been published to a third party.
You might have points on #2 and #3, as I am using your names were concerned.
But pure fact, which can be proved, is being used here. I would if necessary stand up in court and stand by every item I am stating here.
It would not be necessary if a more stringent rules were placed on those with a “little” information.
I am starting to become more familiar with Pprune, and as to “The Real Iceman” comment I wish to point out a few inaccuracies.
I shall answer any question people want answered and to the best of my ability. There are some points which I may have to be slightly vague on, purely because at present there is a dispute in a civil court.
I however, post this thread as myself, not under an anonymous name.
In the eight years I ran M.A.S Airways, I never once used Pprune.
Some of the staff who worked directly with me, may at times, recollect me asking you to get me an account so I could defend what was being said. That said, I never wrote a “post” or “thread”.
Over the last nine months I tried to sit back, remain composed and not get involved in such things.
I have sat back and remained relatively quiet since my resignation on the 11th July 2008, but there is only so much one can take.
I entered an arrangement with Michael Platt on that day, one of the key points of the arrangement was that I would not speak ill of him and, Mike would ensure that BlueStream would match the terms for myself.
Little did I realise that htis would be followed by directors stating “he is going down for 7 years” and other such hot air and smear.

Members of staff, or associates, who work for BlueStream, seemed to wage a campaign to ensure that the people would hear their vindictive rumours.
I am in a civil court, going through civil proceedings, against MP Aviation LLP. There is no possibility of a civil court case having a prison sentence, this is absurd also very hurtful to read.
Furthermore you have heard, that, BlueStream went under because of John Matthews, I took money from Bluestream.
I did not.
I have not taken money from BlueStream Aviation, when you see the accounts at the bankruptcy hearing you will see that I am in fact a creditor, I put in over one million dollars, when Mike went through a period where he stopped funding the company when we didn’t have an AOC as yet, this is also in my witness statement which will soon be a public document ( I believe).
That company was my passion in life and not once have I ever had a bad thought against it, even after I left I still wished the people (not all) at Bluestream and the company the greatest success, why on earth would I not?
I started it.
With regards to comments about me causing it to collapse, I left on the 11th July 2008. It went into administration in February 2009. How could I cause that?
After I left the company decided that the best way forward was to appoint, Paul Munro as the Accountable Manager and Director of this company.
I did not base aircraft at Moscow, paying thousands of Euros each night, 3 hotel rooms for each aircraft, per diems times 3, taxi costs, all with no invoice?
I did not let aircraft sit on the ground in one place for 14 days without flying at times in Moscow, awaiting a miracle, history can teach us Moscow is place were miracles do not happen, surely?
I did not tell you all that ACS where paying for this when they were not.
I did not stop the hot base theory because it was “John’s” idea. Now everything began to be quoted (decision from Accountable Manager I believe) based from the one location there were not flying from?
I did not cancel Wednesday managers meetings which established timeline’s and managed head of department objectives.
I did not cancel staff update meetings once a quarter.
I did not send out one email to staff who had worked there over 5 years informing you all on mass you were no longer employed, without a meeting.
I did not fail to expand the AOC in the remaining nine months.
I did not ask staff to use their own credit cards, knowing that neither the company nor Mike Platt would reimburse you, and to top it all knowing you were not even going to get your salary at the end of the month.
I did not use contractors over full time staff, terminate people on £30,000 a year then employ people on £350 per day, on the XL, when that was the most active citation.
I did not instruct the company to rely on using “Expedia” to book hotels after I left, rather then experienced handling agents. Resulting in massive logistical problems and sometimes hours of travelling.
The truth of the matter is, that you need to have a decision maker, someone that regardless of criticism holds the companies interest close and is willing if needs be stick his head on the block, and say “this way”.
There was no independent monitor, no guidance, so if mistakes happened, and I made them I will be man enough to hold my hands up.
What I will not do is continually blame someone else. This would not be right.
I am here now; I will answer any questions you wish as long as it is not risking my court case. If it is in a witness statement either way I believe that that is public information if requested so I can answer that.
As soon as I have dates for any legal activity you shall have them, perhaps then you will not relay one five people giving false information.
It is important to state that the pilot who feels it necessary to protect one directors reputation, whilst clear intent on spreading bad rumours on mine, is wrong.
I have not lost.
I have had the appeal granted, with a full defence now.
Running up to London to help with administrating BlueStream, does not mean you will get a job with the new lease owner, two of you should bare that in mind.
Finally, I have had no involvement with the lease negotiations of MP Aviation’s aircraft to the present operator, for all those calling around other staff stating “John is messing up the contracts” please stop. I have no evidence to show I am not involved, why or how could I?
Where is you evidence to show that I am messing up your chance to fly with the new operator, and as for the motive, why would I. I enjoyed the company of most of you and hardly benefit from you remaining unemployed?
If you want to ask a question, do so.

One Million Dollars

John,
Just one question: Where did you get $1,000,000 of your own money to invest in Bluestream.
I have been in this business a long time and it is impossible to generate that sort of spare money flying Navajos and Citations. Answer this question honestly and the aviation community MAY start believing some of the things you say. Come on John answer this one!

John,

The rumour going around the Industry is that you personally proffited to the tune of a few million pounds from the purchase of the 604's. Is this true?

Please also remember that profits were generated from the sale of aircraft. I managed to purchase my first Citation aircraft for $900,000 when the industry was a bit sluggish, I also managed to purchase the second at an excellent rate also.
When aircraft where selling at a high in the boom, I sold these aircraft (prior to the involvement of other parties) at excellent profits.
It is true commissions were earned. They were earned by the intermediate parties and directors of BlueStream including the claimant’s company also. The division of these commissions is in dispute at present.
I am certainly not avoiding the question but as I am sure you can appreciate, I need to seek advice before I go into detail.
Also, with reference to “hawker 750” quote, I think i may have known you when I was at Interflight, if so good afternoon to you. I have owned and sold three aircraft prior to getting involved in Challengers, all of them sold at profits, one sold with a clear mortgage, the others sold with over a $2,000,000 return.
This was at the time when just myself and David Williams ran M.A.S Airways Ltd.
Some of that money was from the purchases of Challenger aircraft; again, please understand I have to be a little vague on these for three weeks or so only because it is in court at the moment.
Whatever you may say or think over the matter, please still respect the fact I am answering the question to the best of my ability.
The main purpose was to defend the outrageous claims of prison, and CPS involvement, which is nonsense.
Also, to maybe answer any questions the staff, who have put in hours of work and effort to BlueStream may have regarding any involvement that some people “claim” I had.
