Netjets Interview In Paris - Need Help!!!

Hi fellow Collegues!

(already used the "search"-function)
I've got an invitation for the Netjets interview/simride in Paris in September. Therefore desperately I'd like to request you to give me some help with a feedback of the most recent interviews and simrides happened.

It would be very helpful to receive information about:

-Questions asked in personal interview with the board

-Sequence of testing/interviewing and times

-General behaviour of the interviewers

-Technical questions asked

-Details about the English language quiz?

-Tips for the sim EMB 145 (Profiles, speeds, handling, SID, A/P etc.)

Any report or tip is highly appreciated and welcome.
For those which like to mail more directly instead of posting within this forum: [email protected]

Thank you all for your efforts!

Too true. Lots of jobs where you won't have to worry about the tax man accusing you of not having paid him even though the company gave some of your hard earned lucre to the Inland Revenue in the UK or Portugal or wherever is the favoured spot this month.

This is Highly sensitive material, do not distribute

It would be very helpful to receive information about:

-Questions asked in personal interview with the board

surname, age , weight and sexual inclination ( no more than 45°)

-Sequence of testing/interviewing and times

0600Z briefing , 0630Z Scramble , 0700Z Mission over

-General behaviour of the interviewers

Do not listen to them and answer in your mother tongue ALWAYS !

-Technical questions asked

JAR OPS 1 by chapter and verse, and of course backward, nothing really difficult

-Details about the English language quiz?

No more quizzes ! You just have to memorize the TIMES of last year and do a resume in less than 10 words.

-Tips for the sim EMB 145 (Profiles, speeds, handling, SID, A/P etc.)

Full power on take Off, blue side up (even with an engine fire) on an AMOGA 5J, to maintain FL60 +/- 3000 ft (SOPs) Speed between VRef-20 and VMO+50

Any report or tip is highly appreciated and welcome.
For those which like to mail more directly instead of posting within this forum:

The email is directly to training at Netjets, they will be delightfull to answer.

Thank you all for your efforts

No worries...Read the thread, I love to help but there is limits ! Do you need a spoon or you are bringing your own ?

?Thank you all!

O.k. guys, i see. Is this the way you usually treat your colleagues when they ask you for some help? Very strange.

I only asked for some info concerning RECENT news from the assessments of the last days. That there are already old info on this forum is well known.

I would highly recommend, that those shut up which only have the goal to prove their bad attitude here. You better go back to your sandbox and keep on playing.

To all the others: Thank you!!

What's currently happening in the interviews hasn't changed a great deal over the past year or so.

The folks interviewing you are all pretty good guys and gals. There's no trickery as such. Review the technical stuff such as general Perf A (or ATPL perf) and the like. You should know your own aircraft too, you may be asked about it.

Think about what makes Netjets different versus the airlines and how you can fit in.

You'll definitely need a sense of humour and a fondness for changes to schedules.

If you're not a native English speaker, your English language skills will be assessed.

I flew the sim in March. It's not hard to fly. You're not expected to fly the Embraer 145 like a genius but you're expected to be able to follow an SID and not bust altitudes. Good CRM is also expected.

Netjets crews are expected to be flexible and to not be too fixed on a set schedule. If the assessors feel your answers are too planned then you may not be successful.

Waiting for you on the line then.....

But today, I feel cool

Can you read in between the lines ? hmmmmm may be....If able, try to translate my answers, but Captain Reddo is soooooo sweet that she outlined the answers for you...

There is two sides on a coin, normally these are differents, I love to be a little cryptic, because people do not reveal themselves when they are spoonfed..

September Interviews in Paris... May be I should ask to do a couple of days....; no no I won't ask LoL

aufwierdersen mein freund !

If someone really reads in between your lines of this last BS you wrote: Your self-confidence seems to be on a very low level. Or is it an obsession? I think you won't survive much longer with that problem.

Morton. Seriously, do you want to go and work with people like this?

Being German means you got off lightly. If you were a Brit CL300 would have been really unpleasant.

hahahaha- to many wankers here !

two written tests:
1.) English language understaning. Read a coloumn and mark multiple choise statements about the coloumn you just read.
2.) Tech test. pressure alt and such...

They use different tests so no way of saying what you get. Just be on top of your game and knowlege.

personal interview:
Nicest ppl youll prolly meet during an interview. Very professional! JAR OPS !!!! some instrument flying stuff + standard stuff like why you and why NJE.

simride:
dont rely on PNF. Hes there to set you up.

Just be your self, if you have what it takes your in, if not, well Monty....

good luck

I'm working on it... But it is very hard to be unpleasant with everyone...It is a full time job !!

One good thing , he is not going to work with me , at least for the next 5 years...So he has a lot of good time ahead, and by then... who knows ?

Hey Smeagel , how is life otherwise ? good ? You are not patronising these indocs yes ? On the bright side, the package is improving EVERYDAY..

Morton thing..

enjoy the ride, but truly , my lines will help you one day.... If you make it

I'm not german , I'm coming from a very SouthEast Corner....

Mistakes from people which English is not their mother tongue is acceptable ( IMHO), as long as it is readable and understandable; else please....Enjoy your days off...

Far from condoning CL300's reply and subsequent ranting....
however...I and I'm sure many others ( including Smeagal ) didn't have any "help" when I did my interview.
PPrune is great fun, a good laugh and piss-take most of the time. There are also lots of serious and important topics discussed here.

BUT...giving away all the answers to lazy people who obviously can't be bothered to try themselves is one reason as to why our indocs of new hires are continuing to dish out lower standards of applicants and acceptees.

This is in no way aimed at anybody in particular, it is a general statement which is also the feeling of alot of Training dept personnel.

I do wish you luck, Her Morten..but I also wish you would do it by yourself.
Much more gratifying that way. !!

Oh really? So the troops based in France, Germany, Scandinavia etc finally accepted that they will be paying 60-90% tax? Well I never. Netjets must be such a truly wonderful place to work that the crew are happy paying tax in two countries. I wish I had a job like that

I hope things DO improve. After all the **** people have put up with there over the years they deserve something better. The flying's good though. So much so even the bosses are finally having a go. Shame they'll be sheltered from a 'real' NJE day out, eh?

Easy Guys!

Hey MH, check your PM, (no INFO for Paris . . .). BTW, we lost appr.one crewmember per week so far this year, couple of Žem retired, some went to the legacies, some got laid-off, a few continued on the other side where the grass is greener, some could not cope with the flying challenges. And so on. Its a free world isnt it? The Pension-Plan seems to develop, no details so yet, a SOF is looking from the top to cut the BS, a LOL seems to be visible down the road... This does not mean, that NTA is perfect. Check your personal needs and situation and then pick your battle.
