Any GlobalJet Jockies or ex GJJ out there that confirm the rumours about the workforce being unhappy? I've heard all is not well there. Is it true they are losing alot of pilots?
I see they are advertising for fo's and capts. Anybody applied and got interviews/sim rides lined up? Any details on salary/per diems/roster etc would be appreciated.

salary variable, pd 90euros. No vacation. Work at least 15ON in a row. No real roster. Calling even on your days off.
otw, good aircraft, hotels Ok, pace of work alright. The main pb is the roster due to poor crewing level and a lot and lot of russian flights

Well, it depends really which seat are you in-unfortunately. Captains can pretty much choose where ever they want to live in Europe, but not necessary the fo´s. You might have to live close to the airplane base, if there is one signed nowdays (Not sure), It used to be Paris, Geneva or London.
Interview is different, way different than normal. Nice chat.. Just have a cup of coffee and say that flying a bizjet is a passion AND YOU ARE IN MATE French thing I guess Love it.. short and simple.
Experience for Fo´s nowdays must be some turboprop atleast..If you have jet even better. Few hundred is ok I quess.
Salaries for captains vary from 8500 euros to around 12000 euros. You have to call them every year for a raise-takes some time to get used to it, but thats the way. Enjoy the experience..

Hi!
I am currently working for GJL.
The main problem is the roster and the difficulty to communicate with the office. For ex. if you foresee any upcoming difficulties (license validation, visa etc.) and you inform the office about it, they ignore the warnings and wait until the last minute which often leeds to avoidable problems. The crew usually consists of two commanders and two f/o's per plane. Medical, license or visa problems are not covered by additional pilots and therefore one of the crew has to fly until your colleague is back.
If you are willing to fly additional weeks on your duty it is probably not a bad job, but you won't get extra money for extra days on duty. They offer a 15/13 roster but this usually does not work.
The company is growing rapidly and the management and office structures are not growing at the same rate as the company is growing. The big boss is controlling everything, his stuff has to report to him and cannot make own decisions. The post-holders are only for Jar-Ops purposes and have no power in the company. This slows down the performance and causes additional problems, mainly communication wise.
So long and
take care

What you say is right and will constitute a problem in the future. However, many airlines are facing the same issue...
But I agree the roster with global is a real pain!!!

I was also told that people are walking out the door each day, mainly due to poor rostering and working extra days for NOTHING!

Anything positive?
I have an interview with GJC next week. Have read the concerns over rosters and that on PPJN.
Those of you already there, is it a good company to work for? are these roster frustrations improving or going bad to worse?
Roughly how many hours do you fly a year? I'm trying to figure out how much time you spend living in the hotel waiting for a flight.
Overall how is the atmosphere, are you happy?
any info appreciated

For thoses in the know about any airline or operator, upgrading PPJN (Pilot Jobs Network - hundreds of airlines listed) informations is highly usefull for anybody job hunting, thanks
