Non, pas français.
|
Only one was made - and from a country not noted for aeroplane manufacture!
|
As ever Beags knows.
Comme je l'ai dèja dit, ce n'est pas Français. Even though they did make some delightful aircraft. |
Jero No. 9 Antwerpen
A joint venture between Belgian explorer Pier de Caters and the Bollekens Brothers. |
Nicely done Sir!
You have control. ps. Glad my family name isn't Bollekens - you'd never survive school with a moniker like that. Worse than a boy named Sue! |
Thank you meleagertoo. It did take a bit of finding.
Here's the next one: https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/pprune....f3b52424df.jpg |

Afraid not Chevvron, however you have introduced a new type to me.

Clearly this one is causing some head scratching, so time for a clue. It was on static display at a Farnborough Airshow.
|
I apologise as I don't usually take part but I couldn't keep my fingers off the keyboard.
Its a Hindustan Pushpak or an Aeronca Super Chief as that was what the Pushpak was derived from. |

One more picture. I hope this will be enough for you to work it out. |
Vaguely recall it as a microlight built in about 1984 but I don't recall the name.

Looks like the one.

Searching for British ultralights - I found this photo. The background tail looks very much like your tail above.

It appeared on static display at the 1982 Farnborough Air Show. As I understand it, the uncertainty around what would be in the 'Section S' Microlight regulations limited sales and the company was struggling financially by the time the regulations were published. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/pprune....6caa773231.jpg Quite why it didn't have the upper fin I don't know. A lot of two seaters around this time were struggling to meet the 150kg empty weight requirement, so maybe it was left off initially to scrape in as a microlight? |
Thanks Mechta. When you mentioned Farnborough earlier - I was thinking very new and maybe electric. I was way off! :)
