Thanks A2 - cant help you on the Observer crossword I'm afraid - I take The Times myself.

Nice easy one for a Monday

I leave some prawns - a hundred. (Airfield)

NutherA2 30th January 2012 13:31

Just be careful (in this politically correct age) what you call the resident Labrador?

Tankertrashnav 30th January 2012 16:49

Had to think about that for a minute!

Yes - Scampton it is.

Over to you.

NutherA2 30th January 2012 17:00

Open House again if anyone can come up with one before I do.

TheiC 30th January 2012 19:10

Aircraft:

Stop a repairer, fast, and perhaps under pressure.

TheiC 31st January 2012 15:32

...or alternatively:

Rioters appear in confusion

TheiC 31st January 2012 20:38

Oh dear...

No interest, and as I'm off to bed before a nice day out tomorrow, it was Piper Aerostar.

Open house...

Tankertrashnav 1st February 2012 08:15

Tut tut IC, there certainly was interest. Ive got a piece of paper in front of me with my futile attempts to make an anagram out of rioters appear . Nearest I got was the Airsport made by that obscure maker 'Arepa'!

Like all anagrams it's blindingly obvious when someone shows you the answer :(

TheiC 1st February 2012 16:04

Crikey TTN,

The last time I tried, you thought it was too hard, so I made this one (I thought) very, very easy! 'Aero' and 'piper' were meant to jump off the page!

I didn't want to hold things up, as I expected to be out for a long day today without IT. Very sorry!

Tankertrashnav 1st February 2012 17:18

Told you I was thick, but you wouldn't believe me. But I did try, honest ;)

OK meantime here's another of my easy ones:

Good air navigation starts in the ocean.

(Airfield)

Herod 1st February 2012 20:11

Gotta be Gan

Tankertrashnav 1st February 2012 21:15

Couldn't be anywhere else, Herod (Indian Ocean, of course). Well done.

You have control

Herod 1st February 2012 21:24

Thanks. Another easy one. In river, none find aircraft.

NutherA2 1st February 2012 21:54

Vickers Vernon? OH if so

Herod 2nd February 2012 09:43

That's the one.

NutherA2 2nd February 2012 13:08

Hopefully a quickie to keep the thread going:

Airfield

Bridge partners go off the straight and narrow

Herod 2nd February 2012 15:09

Could be Westray (Papa)?

NutherA2 2nd February 2012 15:45

Certainly is..........YHC

Herod 2nd February 2012 15:51

Thanks again. Pressurise to support this aircraft?

Herod 3rd February 2012 15:01

Nearly 24 hours; I'll rephrase it. "Rush support for aircraft."
