What in tarnation is "kholshchevnikovs accelerator"?

Google, for once, is completely stumped.

Any info anyone?

evansb 8th November 2012 15:47

Google "motorjet" for an explanation.

Sorry for the delay mate.

P-63? Way off track??
Well, not completely. The engine is at the back but nowhere near the number of horses as the Kingcobra.

Krakatoa 11th November 2012 04:28

The inboard leading edge wheel housing looks very Harvard, but that engine
does not. A Ranger engine ?

evansb 11th November 2012 07:11

Yes, it is a Ranger V-770 engine, and it does look like a Harvard/Texan. There is a very good reason...

Krakatoa 11th November 2012 23:07

To move things along. I will go for a Harvard/Texan with a Ranger engine
possibly experimental.

OH

evansb 11th November 2012 23:27

Krakatoa is correct.:ok: It is the North American XAT-6E.

one11 12th November 2012 20:10
