Hmmm...Robust Russian? MiG-15? :)

perhaps a nice shot of a lock-nut would do?
Happy to look at ya nuts Brian - but you'll have to buy me dinner first. :)
C'mon mate, lighten up, holes are hard to find....especially ones that are Google image proof.

Here goes....

Something like the Miles M.77 Sparrowjet?

Noyade 25th November 2012 03:31

Hi Karl. :)

Something like the Miles M.77 Sparrowjet?
No mate, a lot bigger....and there is a FORCE involved...

Karlark 25th November 2012 15:45

Ah... must be the force of the Hummingbird.
XV-4 Lockheed V/STOL aircraft? :) O.H. if correct.

Krakatoa 25th November 2012 22:09

CH-47 Chinook

OH

evansb 25th November 2012 23:25

I would like the specific version of the Chinook. It is not the CH-47 in this case.

Karlark 26th November 2012 00:55

MH-47G Special Operations Aircraft?

evansb 26th November 2012 01:32

Correct. Now it is OPEN HOUSE.

A scene from one of the Men In Black films? :) Looks like a multi-legged two-headed alien (talking to itself) while protecting its brood.

http://img834.imageshack.us/img834/97/meninblack.jpg

Other than that, could it be those talking heads connect to pipe-work leading to the Thunderbolt's supercharger?

http://img717.imageshack.us/img717/3741/img467n.jpg

Karlark 26th November 2012 12:47

They do look like alien creatures by themselves unassembled. :)
Really don't know what aircraft they go with, hence keeping it open house. The Thunderbolt looks plausible, though.

Noyade 26th November 2012 22:20

Well, looks big and World War Two-ish.

In the meantime...

Clue...

The Nation's Capital.

The Nation's Capital
Humm lets see. Boeing B29 Washington? no, Saro London? no way, MS Paris? no, no fuselage visible. Sorry but I'm clueless as to which nation your refer to.:)

Krakatoa 28th November 2012 11:57

Trying to remember the capital of Australia

evansb 28th November 2012 16:56

British Electric/Martin B-57 Canberra ?

Noyade 28th November 2012 19:28

Canberra
:ok: Hit by a SAM over Mozambique, October 1978.

Your turn mate! :)
