The pilot bears a strong resemblance to Charles Lindbergh and the aircraft's strut/gear arrangement resembles a custom-built Ryan. Perhaps I should put on my reading glasses.

dook 26th Feb 2020 16:05

That's probably a very good idea.

treadigraph 26th Feb 2020 17:54

Must admit that I thought pretty much the same Ed, particularly the Lindbergh bit! Couldn't find a Ryan that fitted the bill though... and, yes, I'm using an old prescription!

dook 26th Feb 2020 18:39

You won't find a Ryan which fits because it's not a Ryan.

MReyn24050 27th Feb 2020 12:59

Don't know about a Ryan more of a bit of a Lark really, I am sure it's in Aerofiles somewhere.

dook 27th Feb 2020 13:02

Unlike your AQ !!

sycamore 27th Feb 2020 13:14

How`s about a Curtiss Robin.....? OH if correct ,as and when....

dook 27th Feb 2020 13:54

Not the Curtiss I'm afraid - check the fin.

Asturias56 28th Feb 2020 07:48

It is American then?

dook 28th Feb 2020 08:20

it was indeed American.

dook 28th Feb 2020 10:01

120hp Cessna-Anzani.

The 1931 three seat Sky-Lark was designed by Arnold H Galvin, a Lincoln School of Flying A&E instructor, and built as a class project.
We had identified the Anzani 10 as the engine but had really struggled to find the actual aircraft - nice challenge Dook :)
Aircraft maybe based a little on the Travel Air 10b ?

OH if correct

PDR1 28th Feb 2020 10:43

Is it the 2021-recertified B737Max8?
