Having avoided the wrath of the mods by waiting I confirm it's a Banshee - an RCN one. The original picture was one under maintenance at Faireys Canada in the '50's. It remains the only jet fighter operated by the RCN. Over to meleagertoo :ok:

I think the 24 hour rule is the time from posting the challenge not the time from the correct answer.

Dixi - if you search you'll find the Mods official line

I've served TWO short bans (well one was a month) for posting that someone had the correct answer to a challenge I put up without ME waiting-24 hours. IIRC one was on Christmas Day.

Anyone can interpret the rules as they like but now I wait 24 hours to confirm. It's not a major problem TBH
