The latitude is less than 50N.
Mainly fighters but at one point a photograph revealed 34 aircraft there. |
This doesn't narrow it down much, but the airfield design says 'Warsaw Pact' to me for some reason...

I think its Sandakan in N Borneo..... went on a day trip there from Tarakan once to collect some kit - far easier getting it in that way than via JKT
