You do see PAPIs on both side. That's not too unusual.

Its Duxford! French chateau was a mock up on the far side of the airfield (Bof B movie)

Well done oldpax - 'twas indeed. If I had been standing there an hour earlier I would have had a starring role as the first person to be hit by a passing ME109 (remember the opening scenes!).

OH as nothing to hand!Spent a day at Duxford as an extra for the Bof B film !!

LIkewise - a few of us came down from Oakington during night flying phase, which kept on being cancelled due to fog, and were 'co-opted' to appear in the background. It helped that some of the Varsity QFIs were flying in the film.

The 'French Chateau' looked very good from a distance, only close up did you see the wooden frame and painted canvas.

The Martinair 767 and the Delta cubi's tell me it might be a package holiday destination in the USA. Orlando International?
