Why is the fuselage bent?

Pusher at the back or on a pylon?

1) photo sucks. Plus it's on water, so asymmetrical fuselage due to difficulty to discern where it ends and the reflections start.
2) built, we could say it flew, never entered production.
3) propeller is a pusher on an adjustable shaft... ;)

4) oh, and, obviously a seaplane
