Treadigraph has it: glad it caused some amusement. It one of just seven Helio H.500/U-5A Twin Couriers. My kind of aircraft. :)

Can I ask how you guys generate silhouettes? My software doesn't seem to do it

Quemerford 22nd Mar 2020 09:03

I use Paintshop Pro and blow up the image, drawing round the edges and colouring in the centre. It takes a while to do it! I'm not aware of a short-hand way but maybe I've been making things difficult for myself. Making the image more "contrasty" helps when using 'fill'.

treadigraph 22nd Mar 2020 09:22

I actually thought it might be some version of the Stallion, never heard of the twin Courier.

Asturias,

I use Adobe Photoshop, probably the best of all. but expensive. I am fortunate that I did not purchase mine because it came with my last job.

The "extract" facility allows an object to be removed from its' background and superimposed on another, although so far I haven't used it here.

Asturias56 22nd Mar 2020 09:52

I've got a load of drawing programmes bought for work but not Paintshop regretfully...................

dook 22nd Mar 2020 09:54

The tool I use the most is the clone stamp which is useful in removing registrations and other incriminating evidence from a photo.

treadigraph,

Since you have the thread, do you have anything ?

treadigraph 23rd Mar 2020 10:58

Ooops, my apologies, thought I had appended Open House after my last comment.

Something venomous?

dook 23rd Mar 2020 19:50

Not that I know of.

I think it is the Legend of Performance Aircraft.
There are multiple versions
- Legend
- Turbine Legend
- Venom (military , but yet unsold?)

The slight slope/knuckle before the stabilizer seems to be the Non-turbine Legend?

correction: there is no knuckle
(that is the left elevator)
so is the Turbine Legend

dook 23rd Mar 2020 20:38

I'm afraid not.

treadigraph 23rd Mar 2020 20:40

Pereira GP-4 was my first thought but it doesn't look quite right.

dook 23rd Mar 2020 20:42

Good try but no.

Millenium Master?

dook 23rd Mar 2020 21:21

The challenge was much earlier and single seat.
