Noyade 16th Nov 2012 19:13

Well they're going very quick this morning. :)

Yes mate the Aero L-200A Morava - your control.

one11 16th Nov 2012 19:40

Thanks Graeme - I had some stuff ready to go but Photobucket seem to have done an upgrade and I am getting no response so OH, at least temporarily.

one11 17th Nov 2012 13:54

Sorted ! Looks like the new Photobucket does not support my browser, so had to switch.
Another from the tip-tank generation...

Hi Doug.

There is a white section at the bottom of the image - is that the fuselage?

Lockheed?

It isn't

One from the other side of our apron? Learjet 35 aka C-21A
If so, I'm off to sleep so OH.

one11 18th Nov 2012 08:07

Not a Learjet

An indicator of scale may help....

Piper Cheyenne PA-31T?

one11 18th Nov 2012 09:27

Not a Cheyenne.

All the suggestions so far have been civilian but on this one only the military version had tip-tanks.

zlin77 18th Nov 2012 10:56

Bandeirante EMB-110?

one11 18th Nov 2012 12:04

Not a Bandeirante. This was the final version of a design which carried three different names

Noyade 18th Nov 2012 18:33

I've given up on the USA.
French maybe?
I saw some nice tip-tanks on the Breguet Sahara, but looking at the perspective, that guy would be 12 ft tall - or maybe he's standing on the outer engine?

How right you are. The Breguet 765 Sahara derivative of the 763 Provence and 761 "Deux Ponts". Over to you Graeme.

Thank you Doug. Interesting piece of cropping mate. Of course you do realise I will return the favour - looked at a lot of tip-tanks lately. :)

But for the moment, I have strict instructions to clean the house - meeting No.1 son's new girlfriend this afternoon.

Open house - (for the time being)

Ah what the heck - she's probably a nut-case like all the others!

Open house withdrawn. And not on Mel's list....
