Thanks Karl,

Back to work now, but I doubt I'll get back again before I get home in two or three hours, but seeing as there doesn't seem to be many about, I'll put another one up before I go.

As it's a nice day here for a change, we'll stay on the water!!

Loire 210 ?

Karlark 27th Oct 2012 18:36

Nice day here, too. Back inside from yard work for a look... looks French.

I suspect Loire 210?

Edit: Hi evansb.... looks like you got there first! :)

SincoTC 27th Oct 2012 19:19

Yes Karl, just a few minutes too late hard luck, well done Brian :D

It is the Loire-Nieuport LN.210 seaplane fighter

Evansb has control :ok:

evansb 27th Oct 2012 19:53

Thank you. Still on the water:

Tri-colour tail, so is it French, Italian, American or British??

seacue 27th Oct 2012 23:15

I'd say USA, Chesapeake Bay or eastern North Carolina.

evansb 27th Oct 2012 23:27

No. It is in south-central Canada.

India Four Two 28th Oct 2012 07:17

Hi Bri,

Is it an Avro 504 with a Dyak engine?

Lightning Mate 28th Oct 2012 13:06

Avro 552A Viper.

India Four Two 28th Oct 2012 13:45

Like a snake, LM strikes with lightning speed! :)

evansb 28th Oct 2012 17:32

Lightning Mate is correct. :ok: The Viper was the ideal seaplane trainer of its day. You have control.

Lightning Mate 28th Oct 2012 20:11

An easy one for you.

Limited monitoring due to attention elsewhere, so please carry on as usual if two of you agree.

LM

Lippisch Delta IV also built as the Fieseler F3 Wasp I believe.

evansb 28th Oct 2012 21:23

I agree it is the Lippisch IV Delta.

SincoTC 28th Oct 2012 21:24

I'll second your answer Mel,

On the grounds of this evidence :)

Delta IV - Fieseler F3 Wasp

Edited to say I'll also agree with your answer the thread is yours :ok:

MReyn24050 28th Oct 2012 21:34

MReyn24050 29th Oct 2012 11:36

Hi Graeme. Hope all is well. You have it the Simmering-Gruz-Pauker M222 Flamingo. I see I shall have to change my source i.e. Janes 59-60.
You have control.

evansb 29th Oct 2012 16:41

"All-wooden". Interesting. I wonder what type of wood(s) used and from what forest(s).
